Women who are not pregnant are stockpiling abortion pills, according to a new study published in JAMA Internal Medicine. The practice of requesting a prescription for abortion pills without being pregnant is called “advance provision.” Such requests spiked during two recent periods, including after the May 2, 2022 leak of the Supreme Court’s draft decision in Dobbs v.
