A TAMPA, Florida, socialite and her husband claimed in a lawsuit that the government willfully leaked false and defamatory information about them in the scandal that led to the resignation of David Petraeus as CIA director. Jill Kelley and Scott Kelley filed the lawsuit in federal court against the FBI, Pentagon and unidentified officials in the government, claiming the couple's privacy was violated. It was Jill Kelley who became the focus of national media attention last year after it was revealed she received anonymous emails from Paula Broadwell, Mr Petraeus' biographer and mistress.

FBI Visits Petraeus' Home, Sources Tell NBC News Pete Williams and M. Alex Johnson FBI agents visited the home of former CIA director David Petraeus on Friday, two sources with knowledge of their visit told NBC News. USA Today reported Friday that the agents went there to "interview" Petraeus, but it's unclear whether he was at his home in suburban Washington. A federal investigation of how David H. Petraeus’s biographer obtained numerous classified records is focusing on whether the retired general’s staff gave her sensitive documents at his instruction, according to federal officials familiar with the inquiry. Petraeus and Broadwell have told FBI investigators that Petraeus did not provide her with classified information, law enforcement officials said.
