The Justice Department announced federal charges against David DePape, 42, in the attack last Friday on Paul Pelosi, the 82-year-old husband of Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), at the couple’s San Francisco home. Kristinn Taylor reported on the announcement earlier. DePape is being charged with assault on a family member of a U.S. official and one count of attempted kidnapping of a U.S. official, Nancy Pelosi, who was not home at the time. In the charging documents, the Justice Department, via interviews with Paul Pelosi and DePape lay out the government’s version of events (TGPsummary): The two men...

Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s Select Committee investigating the January 6th riot, which took place at the US Capitol nearly two years ago, held its last public hearing nearly two weeks go. The committee is exclusively made up of anti-Republican members appointed by the leader of the Democratic Party. In our entire 233 year history operating under the US Constitution, this mono-partisan makeup and appointment has never happened. No serious lover of law, in either its making or adjudication, would dream up a process of getting to objective facts without an adversarial process in the calling and questioning of documents and witnesses....

It wasn’t exactly the welcome wagon for Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi in jolly old England, with protesters shouting, “Trump won” and “Go back to Epstein Island” during the California Democrat’s visit to the northern part of the country on Saturday. One man proclaimed, “The whole world knows that Donald Trump won the 2020 election, Nancy!” “Shame on you!” another person shouted. Other cries included, “You’re not welcome here! Go home!” and “Get back to Epstein’s island! Get back to Jeffrey Epstein’s pedo island, Nancy!” The meaning behind the latter reference was unclear. No reports in major media have...

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) said Saturday that America is facing “an enemy within.” She singled out socialist “America Last” policies—apparently referring to the opposite of former President Donald Trump’s America First agenda, in a string of Twitter posts. “Yes there is an enemy within,” she wrote. “And that enemy is a poisonous rot of socialist policies and America last sell outs who are pompous hypocrites that believe they are untouchable elites.” By using the term “enemy within,” Greene seemed to be responding to recent remarks made by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.). She told reporters that the House needs...

President John F. Kennedy requested that Speaker Pelosi’s father, Thomas D’Alesandro Jr. be investigated by the FBI for his connections to organized crime. The related FBI documents were quietly released on January 6th. On January 6th the FBI quietly released documents related to Nancy Pelosi’s father. Thomas D’Alesandro Jr was investigated by the FBI in 1961 per a request from President John F. Kennedy. The document drop was released while Big Media and the Democrats were busy approving a stolen election and pushing the narrative that Trump supporters are violent: There were prior reports that D’Alesandro Jr was connected to...

Yale Medicine Professor of Psychiatry Bandy X. Lee claims that Speaker Nancy Pelosi has the “right to have [Trump] submit to an involuntary evaluation.” Professor Lee, of the Yale University School of Medicine, also serves as president of the World Mental Health Coalition. She has been a longstanding and outspoken critic of President Donald Trump, providing “translations” of his communications on her Twitter feed. Lee was also an editor on The Dangerous Case of Donald Trump: 27 Psychiatrists and Mental Health Experts Assess a President, and is part of a movement demanding that the Judiciary Committee bring a panel of mental health experts to join impeachment...

RUSH: You may not believe me on this, but don’t doubt me. They’re panicking big time on the left. They are panicking over Pelosi not sending the articles over to the Senate. One of her big witnesses in the Schiff committee has written a piece claiming, “You can’t even say he’s been impeached yet if you don’t send those articles over there.” And then there are two polls out today that finally reflect what we all know to be true. JOHNNY DONOVAN: And now, from sunny South Florida, it’s Open Line Friday! RUSH: Yes siree, wrapping up yet another barnstorming...

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi starts shifting the semantic granules to avoid a political loss. The financing for, and construction of, a see-through fencing system (Trump’s position) is the request of DHS and Border Patrol, and supported by the vast majority of Americans. Today, Speaker Pelosi starts by claiming no wall will ever be permitted, then garbles her way through a pretzel response by saying “Normandy Barriers” being replaced by “Normandy See-Through Fencing”, is ok. She’s trying to avoid a political loss

The uproar continues over the recent statements of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi who defended her pro-abortion stance or, to be more nuanced, her “pro-choice” stance supporting a woman’s “right” to choose between having a child or an abortion. In her statement, she made it clear she was speaking “as an ardent, practicing Catholic” about “an issue that I have studied for a long time.” After saying that “the doctors of the church have not been able to make that definition” of when life begins, she cites Saint Augustine to buttress her thesis and concludes that abortion is a decision “that...

I want to urge all my fellow FReepers to phone the White House comments line at 202-456-1111 and leave a message for President Bush urging him to call a special session of Congress and force them to vote on off shore and ANWR drilling. If the Dems vote it down then McCain needs to be all over the media speaking about this. I'm so sick of "Let Them Eat Cake" Pelousi. Congress needs to be reminded that they (still) work for us.
