The Republican National Committee (RNC) published an update at its BarackBook.com website yesterday that accuses Barack Obama presidential campaign bundler Jodie Evans of supporting the insurgency in Iraq. http://www.barackbook.com/Profiles/JodieEvans.htm Evans is co-founder of the so-called antiwar group Code Pink. The RNC quoted a January 15, 2006 column by Robert Novak that said, "Code Pink, At A Mock War Crimes Tribunal In Istanbul June 27, Signed A Declaration That The Iraqi Insurgency 'Deserved The Support Of People Everywhere Who Care For Justice And Freedom.'" Evans represented Code Pink at the mock war crimes tribunal. In addition to expressing Code Pink's support...

During my recent visit to Capitol Hill, I was lucky enough to have the time and opportunity to attend some of the Petreaus hearings. I entered the hearings near the end of the morning session on Tuesday, April 8th. I was shocked to see that the Code Pinkos were there is full force making a mockery of our process. Cloaked head to toe in their version of Muslim garb with faces painted ghoulishly white with black circles around their eyes, they sported hands painted red. (The red hand bit quite appropriate since it was Code Pink who went into Fallujah...

Hey-hey, ho-ho, the Marines in Berkeley have got to go. That's the message from the Berkeley City Council, which voted 6-3 Tuesday night to tell the U.S. Marines that its Shattuck Avenue recruiting station "is not welcome in the city, and if recruiters choose to stay, they do so as uninvited and unwelcome intruders." In addition, the council voted to explore enforcing its law prohibiting discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation against the Marines because of the military's don't ask, don't tell policy. And it officially encouraged the women's peace group Code Pink to impede the work of the...

S.C. Prisons Director Defends Pink Plan Aug 21 08:04 PM US/Eastern By MEG KINNARD Associated Press Writer COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) - South Carolina's prisons director on Tuesday defended a policy of punishing inmates who perform sex acts by dressing them in pink, despite a lawsuit claiming the rule subjects prisoners to ridicule. State Corrections Department John Ozmint said the two-year-old punishment deters inmates and protects female officers. His agency has asked a federal judge to dismiss the lawsuit. "We don't believe the United States Constitution protects an inmate's right to publicly gratify himself," Ozmint said. "We're hopeful federal courts won't...

Sources confirmed to Access Hollywood that Smith was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital shortly after 2 p.m. EST on Thursday. Access Hollywood also is reporting that Smith was intubated at the scene. Officials told the Miami Herald, "it does not look good."

US pop singer Pink has backed down from her call to boycott Australian wool over animal cruelty claims, admitting she failed to fully research the issue. The singer, who has sold around 200,000 tickets for dozens of shows in her upcoming April tour of Australia, appeared in an animal rights group video last year branding the practice of sheep mulesing "sadistic". But today, Pink admitted she was misinformed about the issue and had failed to do enough research. "I probably could have done a lot more researched on my own," she said on Channel 9. "That's the lesson I'm taking...

Sheriff's Pink Duds Have Inmates Vowing to Reform MASON, Texas (AP) - Three county inmates in the jail here lay on their bunks, not saying much. They wore pink jumpsuits and pink slippers, and one was wrapped in pink sheets. They were surrounded by pink bars and pink walls. They were not comfortable. Despite the cramped condition of the tiny jail, the inmates said sitting there was better than working outside, where they might be seen by people they know. Using pink uniforms in a pink jail is a small step to deter inmates from ever wanting to spend more...

A 10-year-old girl was barred from singing a President George W. Bush-bashing ballad at her elementary school talent show because her principal deemed the song inappropriate and too political. "Dear Mr. President," performed and co-written by pop star Pink, criticizes Bush for the war in Iraq and policies including his stance on gay rights. Nancy Shoul said her daughter Molly should be lauded for choosing lyrics that are full of substance and that the ban violates her daughter's right to free speech. "If this was a student singing a pro-administration song, no one would quibble with it," Shoul said Thursday....

A 10-year-old Coral Springs girl won't be allowed to sing a controversial President Bush-bashing ballad at her school talent show after her principal deemed it inappropriate and too political. I don't know if anyone cares, but here is a Bush hating song by musician Pink. She's recently been applauding for her ridiculous song, "Stupid Girls" where she basically says how stupid and uniformed women have become. I guess her high school education makes her an authority on world issues.

October 17, 2005 Dear XXXXXXX, Almost 2000 American soldiers killed and over 25,000 wounded. More than 100,000 dead and wounded Iraqi civilians. $200 billion wasted. When does it stop? How many more US soldiers and innocent Iraqis must give their lives before our government admits the war was a mistake and that it’s time to bring our troops home? U.S. soldiers are at grave risk in Iraq, and continue to suffer even after they come home. Troops returning to the U.S. are suffering post-traumatic stress disorder, and are even turning up in homeless shelters in cities all over the country....

For the twelfth week in a row, FReepers from the DC Chapter and beyond have outnumbered Code Pinkos at their weekly obscene anti-war blood dance outside Walter Reed Army Medical Center. Code Pink is truly stuck in a quagmire as FReepers severely hinder the Pinkos' cynical attempts to manipulate wounded soldiers and relatives in hopes of finding those who will join the anti-war movement and break faith with the troops still fighting a ruthless enemy. Many of the most severely wounded troops from the war in Iraq and Afghanistan are taken to Walter Reed for continued treatment and rehabilitation. The...

FReepers of the DC Chapter, reinforced by other patriots, FReeped a Moveon.org event at the White House and nearby Lafayette Park. Moveon had planned candlelight vigils across the nation to support Cindy Sheehan's demand that President Bush meet with her again, although many of the supporters don't even realize that he did meet with her already. By actually daring to present an opposing viewpoint, we successfully prevented the Moron.org people from getting a completely free ride in the media. At one stage, a leftist was so belligerent that a police officer ordered him away. Our focus was on supporting the...

For the eleventh week in a row, FReepers from the DC Chapter and beyond have outnumbered Code Pinkos at their weekly obscene anti-war blood dance outside Walter Reed Army Medical Center. In the liberal bastion of Washington, DC, a city filled with left wing activists and where about 90 percent of the people voted against George Bush, Code Pink cannot muster enough people to achieve the desired fraud and deceit at their Walter Reed protest. The highlights tonight included one of the male eunuchs of the Pinkos being pulled back by Pinko women when he strayed to another corner. More...

SNIP "We've had slogans like, 'No Blood for Oil,' and 'Bring the Troops Home Now,' but this is a real flesh-and-blood story," said Jodie Evans, a co-founder of Code Pink: Women for Peace, which has led many of the anti-war movement's guerrilla tactics and organized meetings of Iraqi and American citizens. "What works is that it is focused. It is one person's loss versus another person who caused that loss. "Geez, she's a mom who's lost a child," said Evans, who teared up at Camp Casey this week as she recalled her own 2-year-old daughter dying 20 years ago. "Who...

CERGY, France (AFP) - An envelope leaking a strange pinkish powder sparked an alert in a Paris suburban post office, but tests revealed the substance to be nothing more than dessicated elephant dung, police said. With France on high terrorism alert following the London bombings last month, postal workers in a sorting centre in the northwestern suburb of Bonneuil-en-France took no chance when they noticed the strange envelope from Sri Lanka with the powder inside. After police were called in Thursday, six employees who had been exposed to the powder were subjected to medical examinations. The powder was analysed too,...

FReepers from the DC Chapter and beyond stunned leftists with two counter-protests to their radical left-wing protests in the Washington, DC area on Friday, July 29. The first FReep was in Silver Spring, MD, just over the MD-DC line, as the left protested at an Armed Forces Recruiting Center and went paranoid over their photos being taken. By the end of the second FReep, after they had been thoroughly trashed by a double amputee Walter Reed patient, demoralized Code Pinkos gathered in a circle to commiserate over FReepers routing them at their weekly blood dance outside Walter Reed Army Medical...

Code Pink remains stuck in a quagmire and continues sinking fast as evidenced by, among other things, pathetic turnout on their side against a record turnout by FReepers who outnumbered them by more than 4 to 1 most of the evening of Friday night, July 22. Code Pinkos continue holding a weekly anti-war blood dance at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in the liberal bastion of Washington, DC, a city filled with left wing activists. Yet, the Pinkos have been outnumbered for eight weeks in a row, aside from about ten minutes 5 or 6 weeks ago when they briefly...

Code Pink is stuck in a quagmire and sinking fast as evidenced by, among other things, FReepers outnumbering them 2 to 1 most of the evening of Friday night, July 15. The enormity of what is happening must be appreciated. Code Pinkos are holding a weekly anti-war protest at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in the liberal bastion of Washington, DC, a city filled with left wing activists. Yet, the Pinkos have been outnumbered for seven weeks in a row, aside from about ten minutes 4 or 5 weeks ago when they briefly held the numerical edge. Considering conservatives' traditional...

On the heels of an historic rout of the Code Pinkos on July 1, FReepers continued to frustrate the hate-filled Pinkos and their evil scheme as police ordered a stunned and distraught DC Chief Pinko, Gael Murphy, back to her side. FReepers of the DC Chapter and FReepers from elsewhere achieved the decisive victory on Friday night, July 8. This was the 13th FReep of the unlucky Code Pinkos as FReepers hinder the Pinkos' evil scheme: to fake friendship with soldiers in hopes of finding one or more who, vulnerable in their wounded state, can be manipulated into joining the...

On Friday night, June 24, DC Chapter FReepers and friends had a fabulous fun FReep of Code Pinkos in complete disarray outside a gate of Walter Reed Army Medical Center. It was great to have several additional local FReepers join us for the first time in this 12th FReep in the Walter Reed series in just over thirteen weeks. With at least one out-of-town FReeper braving heavy holiday traffic, we had an awesome turnout for a holiday weekend. As we have done on a number of these FReeps, we ate pizza on site before the FReep was under way. The...

Convicts were forced to march to a new top-security jail — wearing just pink underpants and flip-flops to deter escape bids. Prison bosses reckoned the 700 hardmen would be too embarrassed to go on the run in gay-style garb. Muscle-bound, tattooed thugs were linked with pink handcuffs for the two-mile hike. And when they reached the new clink in Phoenix, Arizona, one con had to cut a pink ribbon to open it. Tough Sheriff Joe Arpaio said: “I put them on the street so everybody could see them. They can see this is what happens to people who break the...

Title IX for Jihadi Chicks By Debbie Schlussel FrontPageMagazine.com | April 13, 2005 The strange new equality of the Islamic jihad has arrived on our shores. Yet, feminist Martha Burk is complaining about women wearing pink. Thursday, The New York Times reported that two 16-year-old girls from New York City were arrested in March because they planned homicide bombings. Saying they are “from New York City” is kind of a stretch. The girls were actually from Bangladesh and Guinea and are in the U.S. illegally, as are their families. Both families have overstayed their visas—and welcomes—by more than a decade....

It used to be red - before an unfortunate encounter with a bottle of bleach. That's the last time anything even remotely pink hung in my closet. Let's face it, pink is for little girls, Barbie, and of course, the inmates at the Maricopa County jail. For some time now, those in fashionista Sheriff Joe Arpaio's lockup have worn pink underwear and slept on pink sheets. Now they're wearing pink handcuffs, fluorescent, during transport. Seems Sheriff Joe was losing his regular handcuffs to his own deputies and other law enforcement agencies. So he ordered up a thousand of the day-glo...

NAPERVILLE, Ill. - In a U.S. Senate race that looks increasingly like a grand philosophical debate about religion and government, Democrat Barack Obama stood before a packed church Tuesday and argued the case for keeping the two separate. As Exhibit A, he held up his Republican opponent: "It's not clear to me that I want Alan Keyes telling me what it means to be a Christian," Obama said. Obama, currently a state senator representing a Chicago district, and Keyes, a conservative activist recruited from Maryland by the Illinois GOP, are vying for the U.S. Senate seat being vacated by Sen....

St. Poelten. Public prosecutors have reopened investigations into the mysterious death of a trainee priest from the seminary in St. Poelten at the heart of a recent child porn scandal. The body of 53-year-old Ewald S. was recovered from the Old Danube lake in Vienna in October 2003. The dead man was a former student from the seminary in St. Poelten but at the time police excluded possible foul play and closed the file as a suicide case. The head of the seminary at the time Ulrich Kuechl spoke of an “accident.” The case was reopened in February as a...

Syracuse University has adopted an athletics logo for all of its athletics teams. The new look is the result of a collaborative effort between the University and NIKE, SU’s official athletics apparel partner. All 21 of SU’s athletics teams will utilize the new mark – an interlocking SU – and the official orange color on uniforms and warm-ups and in print and electronic venues. Previously the department had multiple marks and logos. In addition, Syracuse University’s teams will now use the nickname Orange, replacing Orangemen and Orangewomen. “We are pleased to be moving forward as the Orange,” said SU Director...

<p>MERRILLVILLE, Ind. -- About 100 middle school students wore pink to protest restrictions imposed by school officials concerned that the color was associated with gang activity.</p>

Administrators made some students who wore pink shirts replace them with school T-shirts. Several students, anticipating the order to change, brought a second set of clothes to school.</p>

Tuesday, August 05, 2003 The Pink Triangle Wedge? In the 2000 election only 10% of African-American voters pulled the lever (or punched the chad) for Bush. Obviously these are dismal numbers which the Bush team would certainly love to improve upon come 2004. The recent brouhaha over gay marriage may be the issue they use to try to chip away at what has become a Democratic stranglehold on the black vote. A Gallup Poll conducted on July 25-27 shows that support for legalized homosexual relations among blacks has dropped to 35%. While most African-Americans have embraced the broad positions of...

The women in Washington D.C. and San Francisco who protested the impending war with Iraq, in honor of International Women’s Day, are a disgrace to all women. They claim to be progressive, when in fact, they are regressive, marching backwards against the tide of history. The silly names of their organizations, “Code Pink” and “Women in Black,” are a case in point. For some unknown reason, the “Code Pink” ladies decided that pink is a symbol of oppression, so they dressed up like walking Pepto-Bismol bottles. Their ridiculous chanting of “Bush says Code Red; we say Code Pink” did little...

January 15, 2003 Group Unites Gays Who Use Guns By MARYCLAIRE DALE ASSOCIATED PRESS PHILADELPHIA (AP) - Lisa Miner had just let her dogs out one afternoon when she noticed a stranger inside her enclosed front porch. When he didn't, she shot him, she said. The alleged intruder survived the neck wound last March and was charged with breaking and entering. Miner said she doesn't know if she...

Listening to Pink Floyd's earliest works on Rhapsody last night and this morning, I have come to a fundamental conclusion. My original opinion was CORRECT: Pink Floyd was at its peak BEFORE the Dark Side of the Moon release. The LAST good album PF put out was "Meddle" in 1971 or 2. DSOTM was cr*p--yes, I realize I'm going against the grain here, because most of the great unwashed don't even know there WAS anything before DSOTM--and they just NEVER did anything worthwhile again.Perhaps their best effort was 1969's Ummagumma, a double-LP set with live and studio LPs combined in one package."Piper...

In the wake of the attacks it's become necessary to lament the fact that America lost some of its innocence. The same thing was said after Oklahoma City, the Viet Nam War, and the assassination of JKF. Each of these events has been cited as the moment America lost its innocence. Webster’s defines an innocent as a very naïve or simple-minded person. Anyone who fears the events of September 11th have stripped America of its innocence need only look on our college campuses to find simple-mindedness alive and well. Something Frivolous I suppose it was predictable that as the shock...
