The Taliban is claiming responsibility for Monday's attack on the U.S. Consulate in Peshawar, Pakistan that killed at least three people. A U.S. Embassy spokeswoman in Islamabad confirmed the attack on the consulate in the North West Frontier Province capital. It was not immediately clear if those killed were the attackers, consulate staff, or others nearby at the time of the blasts. There are no reports that any U.S. citizens were among those killed.

I am planning on doing a documentary on socialism in Sweeden, Norway, Denmark and other parts of Europe and Canada. I plan to upload it of Flix, Spike and YOUTUBE as well as a few other channels. It will be possibly in more than two parts. I am doing this because I have been reading up on liberals fawning over the system they have in scandanavia and have been challenged a few times on the subject. This is especially crucial in light of the controversy of universal healthcare ETC. Specifically I need help with acquiring research matrial especially statistics charts...

Ed Schultz, the liberal talk show host, recently visited the WH. He called it a shrine to Obama.

As is traditional, our first wish is for even more wishes to come true. We also wish for: * Global warming deniers to have a banner year as the Arctic ice pack returns to its normal size. Unfortunately, we're not holding our breath on this one. * The U.S. Senate to pass a climate bill that puts a price on carbon emissions, a critical step in preventing a catastrophic rise in global temperatures. * California's Legislature and governor to finally get real about the prison crisis and approve a sensible plan for reducing the inmate population without endangering the public....

He's not a Cabinet member or an ambassador, but Sen. John Kerry has ascended to the unofficial role of President Obama's global adviser on key issues that could reshape the nation's image around the world. Mediating Afghanistan's presidential election vaulted Mr. Kerry, Massachusetts Democrat, from the already prominent chairmanship of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee into the most exclusive circle around a new president who is juggling but has yet to resolve a variety of domestic and foreign policy matters. Beyond policy, Mr. Kerry knows how Washington works.

Is SEIU’s Purple Brand Fading to Pink?Posted By Don Loos On October 6, 2009 @ 7:46 am In ACORN, Big Labor, Economics, Featured Story, Politics | 25 Comments Stern’s New Big Labor Same as the Old Big Labor For the past four years, the highest profile Big Labor Boss was Service Employees International Union (SEIU) President Andy Stern. Stern has deliberately parlayed his controlling style as that of a New Labor Boss, and he has painstakingly worked on the SEIU “purple brand.” And yet, Stern and the SEIU union have failed to live up to the New Labor Boss identity...

As NewsBuster Matthew Vadum reported Wednesday, a race-baiting group named Color Of Change -- co-founded by President Obama's "Green Jobs Czar" Van Jones -- has launched a campaign to get companies to stop advertising on Glenn Beck's television program. Recent press releases from COC concerning Beck have listed as the contact "Brandon Hatler -- Sunshine, Sachs & Associates." As Variety reported in May 2007, SSA is a powerful New York-based public relations firm with quite an impressive list of clients: Current clients include Ben Affleck, Jon Bon Jovi, Kelly Clarkson, Leonardo DiCaprio, Jimmy Fallon, the Farrelly brothers, Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu,...

Imagine it's four years ago and an aide to President Bush posted a blog on the Whitehouse.gov website that bemoaned Internet criticism of the Iraq war, then continued: "These rumors often travel just below the surface via chain emails or through casual conversations. "Since we can't keep track of all of them here at the White House, we're asking for your help. If you get an email or see something on the web about anti-war protests that seem fishy, send it to flag@whitehouse.gov.'' Substitute the words "health insurance reform" for "anti-war protests," and you get the exact wording of a...

....Che hardly ever sat for a bad photo--even in death. But of all surviving photographs of him, one in particular stands out: the head-and-shoulders portrait of a bearded, longhaired, 31-year-old Che, wearing a bomber jacket and his trademark beret emblazoned with the comandante star. Casey makes this image the central concern of Che's Afterlife, and in the book's opening chapter he offers a vivid re-creation of the "frozen millisecond" when the photo was taken. The date was March 5, 1960; the location a spot near Havana's Colón cemetery; the occasion a public funeral sponsored by the revolutionary government. The previous...

President Obama and congressional Democrats are avidly pursuing a sweeping agenda they claim is justified by the need for greater "fairness." This invites scrutiny of the various programs to verify if they do, in fact, promote fairness. "Free from bias, dishonesty, or injustice" is the standard meaning of fairness, which requires treating people similarly, perhaps not identically, but certainly not with purposeful difference. Apply this test to the tax changes proposed in President Obama's budget, and it seems clear he wants to punish higher-income earners for the benefit of others, namely lower and middle-income earners. Let's understand the pre-Obama tax...

FOXWIRE - American citizens will soon be able to hop on a direct flight to Havana if Congress passes a bill proposed today. "This is a failed policy that has failed for 50 years and it long past the time to change the policy," said Sen. Byron Dorgan (D-ND), part of a bipartisan group of 20 senators calling for the removal of the 47-year old ban on travel to Cuba. "Punishing the American people in our effort to somehow deal a blow to the Castro government has not made any sense at all."

"He's lucky he didn't try something like this under Saddam Hussein." ### Ambassador Samir Sumaida’ie: Mr. Muntader al-Zaidi is very lucky that it was Mr. Bush and Mr. Maliki and not Saddam Hussein. Because, had it been Mr. Saddam Hussein you would be carrying a different plaque by now. Number 2, in our country, I know that people have told you that showing shoes at someone is an insult. But, it is a bigger insult to the host; in our culture anyone who insults a guest is insulting the host. So in our culture we believe that what Mr al-Zeidi...

Lee's ensemble cast includes Emile Hirsch, Imelda Staunton and Liev Schreiber. Democratic presidential presumptive Sen. Barack Obama (IL) met with his terrorist supporting fundraiser, Jodie Evans, at a $5 million Hollywood fundraiser held last week at the Dorothy Chandler Pavillion on Tuesday, June 24.In what can only be described as a big middle finger to the veterans and military families who have urged Obama to renounce Evans, Obama met with Evans and was photographed with her at the fundraiser.Evans is co-founder of the leftist anti-American group Code Pink. She and Code Pink have endorsed the terrorists in Iraq and have sent over $600,000 in cash and humanitarian aid to "the other...

Did anyone else notice the "VOTE for CHANGE in 08" bumper sticker in the public restroom scene?

Americans are well acquainted with presidential candidate Barack Obama’s legendary pledges to bring “change” to America’s political and social landscape. (For example, see here and here and here.) Indeed, “Change We Can Believe In” is the slogan that adorns the homepage of his campaign website and so many of the placards displayed by the supporters who attend his speaking engagements. His Democratic rival, Hillary Clinton, is also well practiced at issuing calls for change. Her “Change and Experience” ad campaign was but an outgrowth of her 1993 declaration, as First Lady, that “remolding society is one of the great challenges...

I've decided to pay a visit to this MoveOn.Org function. I understand many Arizona democrat lawmakers and even a disturbed, delusional left-wing mental patient talk show host named Jeff Farias will be speaking. I will be correcting some of the factual errors I have a feeling could possibly arise. I welcome any company. This Thursday at Noon, Phoenix State Capitol. 1700 W. Jefferson.

Once content to thump drums and dig deep for chants that rhyme, the “peace” movement’s foothold on the public soapbox has slipped. The peaceniks -- ANSWER, MoveOn.org, Code Pink and the rest -- are in the midst of very public identity crisis. They are facing, for the first time, visible and vocal opposition to both their words and their methods. And it has made them angry….very angry….angry enough to (pause for dramatic effect) use violence as an option!
