The NBC sitcom Superstore regularly carries water for liberal causes ranging from illegal immigration to unionization. This week, in the episode “Lady Boss” on January 9, the show pulled out all the stops for radical feminism. The feminist push began when Jonah (Ben Feldman), the store’s resident left-wing activist and all-around annoying busy-body, desperately looked for a cause to latch onto now that the store’s unionization hopes have died. He found it when he saw feminist “girl power” apparel on the mannequins. Excited by the feminist clichés like “Lady Boss” and “Girls Rule” on the t-shirts for sale, he decided...

You know how good a cool shower feels when you come home from a long, sweaty run? Well that shampoo and body wash you love so much could be costing you more if you’re using products marketed towards women—a price discrimination commonly referred to as the “pink tax.” Research confirms this is a real thing. The New York City Department of Consumer Affairs (DCA) compared the cost of various products sold throughout New York City and found a stark difference between the cost of products marketed to men and those marketed to women. And a 2010 Consumer Reports study found...

Burger King is tackling gender inequality in a new campaign featuring “Chick Fries” aimed at women. Beginning on Thursday, July 26, Burger King will be serving “Chick Fries” in a pink box in select restaurants while supplies last in an effort to raise awareness and counteract the "pink tax" tax.

Some legislators think Nevada women are cheap dates. Consider a recent proposal from Assemblywoman Sandra Jauregui, D-Las Vegas, and Sen. Yvanna Cancela, D-Las Vegas, to eliminate the 8.15 percent sales tax on feminine hygiene products. Around the country, liberals are on a crusade to eliminate the “pink tax,” the higher prices women supposedly pay for products. Jauregui claims that by assessing a tax on tampons, “Our state government doesn’t view feminine hygiene products as a necessity.” This is ludicrous. State government has no opinion on feminine hygiene products. Tampons are taxed because Nevada has a sales tax.

Women pay an average of 43 per cent more for toiletries such as razors and shampoo than men do, according to a new study. The so-called “Pink Tax” has been long tied to services like dry cleaning and haircuts for women. But a new study from Toronto-based ParseHub reveals price tags on 3,191 personal care products for women are substantially higher than the corresponding products for men. The gap between average similar products for a range of men’s and women’s razors, shampoo, soap, deodorant and shaving cream is six per cent higher for women, ParseHub noted: women pay about $47.57...
