Tuesday on his nationally syndicated radio show, conservative talker Rush Limbaugh declared Monday’s “Not My President’s Day” protests to be a failure. According to Limbaugh, this protest and other movements are losing steam because they are having little impact on President Donald Trump and will continue to diminish as they begin to be ignored by most of the public.

A group of protesters at the Wayne Co. (Detroit, MI) Commission meeting is protesting the construction of jails. Their many loud chats include "All the jails have got to go'", "schools, not jails" and "water not jails". All the while the gavel is struck repeatedly trying to bring the meeting to order. Making a dent in the immense amount of trash being hauled out of the Oceti Sakowin #DakotaAccessPipeline protest camp is being hindered by the weather. The garbage that was left behind is now frozen into massive chunks of junk. It's estimated it will take 250 trucks filled with litter to clear the camp.
