Christy Kabat was part of the march Saturday evening when she got into an altercation with a driver who was stopped in the street by the protest, according to Mayor Kabat. The driver "came very close" to hitting her and nearby protestors, said the mayor, who wasn't at the protests himself. When Christy reminded the driver that they were protesting "peacefully," he then sprayed her with pepper spray or mace. "She's pretty shook up," Mayor Kabat said. "She feels responsible because she's like, 'Well I should have just let the jerk drive away.'"

Remember this week when it comes time to vote in November. What we’re seeing across America is what Democrats have created coming to fruition; it’s the natural end result of a progressive philosophy that works overtime to absolve individuals of their responsibility and place blame on others for political advantage. It’s rage for the sake of motivation to vote, to hate, to not think. It has worked for progressives in the past, and there’s no reason to believe it won’t work for Democrats now. But in order to work, it has to destroy. Liberalism, progressivism, or whatever they choose to...

Breonna Taylor’s death brought together hundreds of protesters in downtown Louisville on Thursday night to demand justice for Taylor, the unarmed African American woman who was shot and killed by Louisville Metro Police officers in March. The protest started out peacefully before turning violent, with at least seven people shot and wounded by an unknown assailant or assailants. Police officers at the protest did not fire their guns, according to LMPD. One person who was shot is in “critical” condition, police said. According to a statement from Mayor Greg Fischer early Friday morning, two victims were sent to surgery. All...

(Can we please use the correct term for these 'protests'? They are RIOTS!) >> In both riot and protest, we see some similar conditions, but also there is some difference between them when it comes to their meaning. Riots can be defined as a civil condition where people behave violently and out of order. Riots can be results of any kind of mistreatment, injustice or oppression due to the authority, government, or people themselves. Protests, on the other hand, can be defined as a form of expression over a dislike by a group of people and these are more peaceful...

TAIPEI: Taiwan promised on Thursday (May 28) to settle Hong Kongers who flee the city for political reasons, offering help from employment to counselling, and prompting angry condemnation from Beijing as it pushes security legislation for Hong Kong. Taiwan President Tsai Ing-wen this week became the first world leader to pledge specific measures to help people from Hong Kong who may leave the former British colony because of the new legislation. Chen Ming-tong, head of Taiwan's top China-policy maker, the Mainland Affairs Council, told parliament the government will establish an organisation to deliver "humanitarian relief" that includes settlement and employment...

Memorial Day Weekend is usually a time in which banner planes buzz up and down the Jersey Shore advertising drink specials, pizza deals or local businesses to the sun-seekers below. On Sunday in the Wildwoods, a few went political, apparently over the reopening of most Jersey Shore beaches from months-long coronavirus restrictions. One aimed at Gov. Phil Murphy said: “Murphy’s mom voted for Guadagno.” (Murphy ran against Lt. Gov. Kim Guadagno in 2017.) And another said, "Tom Wolf likes to color” - an apparent reference to Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Wolf’s color-coded reopening plan. Wolf was at odds with fellow Democrat...
