MEXICAN Foreign Minister Luis Ernesto Derbez today slammed US President George W. Bush's plan to send 6000 troops to secure the US-Mexico border and stanch the flow of illegal immigrants there, adding that Mexico has no plans to follow suit. Mr Derbez complained in a television interview that the move amounted to "militarising" the border, enabling US troops to detain people.
