Basking in the glow of his anticipated success in arranging peace among Israel, the Palestinian Authority, Hamas and others, Secretary Kerry now plans to work his magic in Iraq.According to this racist rant by former Ambassador Bolton, the Obama Nation has no strategy: [youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dmxI1b8S1ZQ] Video linkThere is a clear strategy: send Secretary Kerry to bring peace and prosperity to Iraq. That is the only strategy that can bring a lasting peace. Here's part of another racist rant from Half Baked Breitbart: [W]ith Obama’s latest decision to launch airstrikes against the Islamic State in the Levant (ISIL or ISIS), the Obama Doctrine has now come into...

With President Obama reluctantly acting on behalf of Christians in Iraq, in order to avert what he calls a potential “genocide,” the United Nations is going through the motions of coming to grips with the nearly 40-year-old communist genocide in Cambodia. A U.N.-sponsored court has convicted two Cambodian communist leaders of crimes against humanity. Khmer Rouge was the communist version of ISIS in Iraq But The New York Times ran a story blaming America, not communism, for the mass murder. The Khmer Rouge was the communist version of ISIS in Iraq.

There is much discussion these days of why the Media and liberals in general are so anti-Israel. It should be obvious to any casual but attentive observer that the media has a bias in favor of the Muslims and in opposition to Israel. Stories about the Gaza war have headlines like “Israel Resumes Gaza Strikes After Cease-Fire Lull - ABC News” or BBC News - Gaza conflict: UN accuses Israel over Jabaliya attack. In fact, a scan of the headlines suggest that Israel was and is the aggressor, while Hamas was minding its own business and only defending itself.

Friday, August 08, 2014 Friday Afternoon Roundup - Open Minds, Closed Hearts Posted by Daniel Greenfield @ the Sultan Knish blog  LEADER-SHIP The photo was retweeted by White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest, who had just gotten through explaining that Obama deals with genocide on a case-by-case basis. The White House also uploaded it to its Flickr page and it’s probably on Instagram and projected above the White House with a laser on the sky. This situation room photo is serious. It means business. Susan Rice has changed out of her PJs and into her power suit like she’s ready...
  • U.S. needs immigration system that works

America did not become great by keeping people out. We are great because, throughout our history, we have held our doors wide open to those seeking a new start, economic opportunity, and a chance to raise their families in peace and freedom. Tragically, our outdated immigration laws no longer uphold this quintessentially American vision. The country founded and built by immigrants now erects unnecessary barriers that turn aspiring Americans away and tear families apart. America desperately needs for Congress to pass immigration reform, to fix this broken system that so clearly fails to meet our needs. I am the child...
  • Archbishop of Canterbury: Give Asylum to Iraqi Christians

Is the West waking up, or is it hoping too much? And is it too late anyway, when the genocide is accomplished? The Archbishop of Canterbury, Most Rev Justin Welby, has called on the UK government to offer asylum to thousands of Iraqi Christians driven from their homes by jihadists. He backed similar calls by several bishops. The vicar of Baghdad's Anglican church, Canon Andrew White, said the believers' flight is bringing "the end of Christianity very near" in Iraq. France has already done what the Archbishop proposes. Last week the country declared itself ready to give asylum to...

Hamas, et al, have done a splendid job of helping Western media to blame Israel for noncombatant casualties in Gaza. There are none so blind as those who refuse to see.I see only what I want to see. Although accused of intentionally causing "civilian" casualties in Gaza, Israel has done more than any other nation at war to prevent casualties among enemy noncombatants. The first five videos provided immediately below show the efforts of Hamas, et al, to put Gazan noncombatants in harm's way by using civilian facilities in Gaza as rocket launching points, Israel's efforts to reduce noncombatant casualties to the extent possible and to provide medical treat...

Not only did Hamas break the ceasefire with Israel, they went on Al-Jazeera to show off at least one terror tunnel Israel missed.Hamas claims the tunnel leads into Israel. Via MEMRI:(VIDEO-AT-LINK)Times of Israel reports:…in Gaza City on Thursday, a Hamas spokesman said Hamas still has tunnels that stretch “inside the Zionist entity.” Mushir al-Masri said it would use these tunnels when resuming attacks on Israel on Friday morning if its demands were not met. The claims follow an Al-Jazeera report on Wednesday, which showed its correspondent in what it said was an operational attack tunnel on the Israel-Gaza border.

Not a strategy based on moral clarity about the imperative of civilization prevailing over barbarism Recently Pope Francis declared that “the persecution of Christians today is even greater than in the first centuries of the Church, and there are more Christian martyrs today than in that era.” The slaughter of 200,000 Christians in the Darfur region of Sudan since 2011 may not have received the attention it deserved. But now the religious cleansing of Christians in Iraq resulting from Islamic jihadists’ conquest of lands Christians had called home since the first centuries A.D. cannot be ignored.

The Obama administration has reached what one might call the ‘Pol Pot Aftermath’ of its Middle Eastern policy. Michael Totten notes that ISIS is massacring the Yezhidis, people who practice “the original religion of the Kurds. ” What is worse, according to the New Yorker magazine, this massacre is genocide. George Packer describes the travails of his friend Karim, who “spent years working for the U.S. Army in his area, then for an American medical charity. He’s been waiting for months to find out whether the U.S. government will grant him a Special Immigrant Visa because of his service, and...
  • Will NATO's Turkey join Russia, or Muslim Militants, as Obama's "Pen and Phone" Military weakens?

As the well-coordinated, Russian and Militant Muslim giant military pincer maneuver continues to rapidly succeed for control of the Eastern Mediterranean formerly Sovereign Nations, will NATO's Turkey soon have to decide if Obama's failed "Pen and Phone, Whack-a-Mole" Military Exceptionalism, is better or worse than Putin or ISIS? Control of the Eastern Mediterranean and the Suez Canal by Russia's Navy would allow the free flow of Muslim Militant's Oil to the Russian-controlled Ukraine Oil Pipelines to Europe, at a mutually beneficial price to Putin and ISIS, of course.

Thursday, August 07, 2014 Are All Dead Children Created Equal? Posted by Daniel Greenfield @ the Sultan Knish blog While furious mobs of leftists draped in Keffiyahs and corn syrup were shrieking about Gaza in the public squares of every major city, ISIS was continuing its genocidal advance on Baghdad. In the last 24 hours, the Yazidis, a non-Muslim minority, fled ISIS to a mountaintop where their children are dying of thirst.  The stark reality of their plight, caught between thirst and a genocidal army, is in sharp contrast to the phony claims made about Gaza where truckloads of goods...

Among the many 'Palestinians' executed by Hamas as 'collaborators' at the beginning of this week was Ayman Taha, Hamas' former spokesman. Meanwhile, Palestinian newspaper al-Quds reported that Hamas has executed its former spokesman Ayman Taha, who was arrested on suspicion of spying for an Arab country and financial corruption. According to the report, a firing squad executed Taha in Gaza on Monday. What nice people.... Maybe we should give them a state.... Oh wait, we did that already....

Image courtesy of Samaritan's Purse[/caption] Ann Coulter makes her position clear in the title of her article: “EBOLA DOC'S CONDITION DOWNGRADED TO 'IDIOTIC’”.  She ponders how Dr. Kent Brantly, whom she gives the moniker “the Ebola doctor” feels now that his trip to Liberia and subsequent care since contracting Ebola cost so much. I don’t know if Coulter was simply trying to make a point by overshooting the mark, or if she really believes, as a Christian, that Dr. Brantly’s efforts in Liberia were wasted.  It doesn’t matter though.  What Coulter wrote is irrelevant. Her point is, in her...

Two anchorwomen in the Middle East have protested against the persecution of Christians in their countries on TV while reading the news. The Muslim journalist Dalia AlAqidi, who works for the Iraqi TV network Sumaria, wore a cross around her neck on air and launched a verbal attack from the TV against "Islamist fascism", in support of Christians in Mosul, IraqÂ’s second largest city. AlAqidi made this gesture not only because of the disappearance from Mosul - which since June is in the hands of jihadists - of a Christian community that numbered in the thousands of faithful, but...

Tuesday, August 05, 2014 The UNRWA is Hamas Posted by Daniel Greenfield @ the Sultan Knish blog The UNRWA is on the front lines of the Hamas War in Gaza. In the headlines, its schools are forever being fired on or found to be stockpiling rockets. If individual Gazans are being used as human shields, the UNRWA often seems as if it is one big organizational human shield. But the UNRWA isn't Hamas' human shield. The UNRWA is Hamas. The "UN" part of the UNRWA, the blue logos and symbols, fool us into thinking of it as an international humanitarian...

Black Jesus Slink Johnson (center) with, from left, Corey Holcomb, Andrew Bachelor, Kali Hawk and Andra Fuller, Thursdays on Adult Swim. Aaron McGruder moves his satire of contemporary African-American life from comic strips and animation to live actors with “Black Jesus,” his new series for Adult Swim, beginning Thursday night. It’s a looser, baggier, less pointed show than “The Boondocks,” his sometimes-brilliant cartoon that has occasionally popped up on Adult Swim over the last nine years. And it has a comfortable, which is to say familiar, feel, recalling comedies from “Chappelle’s Show” all the way back to “Sanford and Son.”But...

An Israeli commander claimed that hundreds of Israeli lives were saved recently when “the hand of God” stopped a Hamas rocket. The Israeli commander described the attack on a Hebrew-language website: A missile was fired from Gaza. Iron Dome precisely calculated [its trajectory]. We know where these missiles are going to land down to a radius of 200 meters. This particular missile was going to hit either the Azrieli Towers, the Kirya (Israel’s equivalent of the Pentagon) or [a central Tel Aviv railway station]. Hundreds could have died. We fired the first [interceptor]. It missed. Second [interceptor]. It missed. This...
