San Luis Obispo, CA (AP) -- A Nipomo priest got probation for groping a male sheriff's deputy at the Pirates Cove nude beach. Besides three years' probation, the Rev. Geronimo Enrique Cuevas must complete 40 hours of community service and attend an AIDS education class. He also is banned from Pirates Cove.

The two boys arrested after the slaying of an elderly San Luis Obispo man this week have fathers who are convicted felons and mothers who struggled with little money to raise them.
