In his path to the White House, president-elect Donald Trump won North Carolina and one region where he enjoyed significant support was Johnston County. Last week, Donald Trump made one of the final stops of his campaign trail in at The Farm in Selma. The field was packed with an estimated 15,000 people according to Trump. Many in Selma are now pleased that Trump will be the next president of the United States.

SELMA, AL (WSFA) - The Selma Police Department has arrested and charged two suspects with capital murder after the suspects shot a victim in the face while allegedly breaking into a vehicle. Police officers responded to the 500 block of Dallas Avenue at 10:15 p.m. on Saturday in reference to a person being shot.
