<p>San Francisco -- Saturday's anti-war demonstration in San Francisco will send protesters on a different route from the one followed in past peace events, organizers said Monday.</p> <p>Activists are asking people to meet at 11 a.m. in Civic Center, then march to Jefferson Square Park near the corner of Turk and Gough streets, said Bill Hackwell, an organizer with International Answer, one of the main coordinators of the event.</p>

"We, the undersigned, stand against wealthy Hollywood celebrities abusing their status to speak for us," declares an Internet petition launched by Citizens Against Celebrity Pundits.
