"The common greeting will be replaced with "non-gendered terms," such as "passengers," "riders," or "everyone." MTA spokesman Jon Weinstein said banning "ladies and gentlemen" would provide riders with "clearer information." "We're fundamentally changing the way we talk with riders to give them better and clearer information," he said."

In the post, the university department wrote that the messages had been posted on the Wall Building and other places around campus on Monday.

This YouTube video between Dr. Jordan Peterson and others is what liberals want to do to entire professions. Instead of teaching social justice in departments of education, law and social work and require you to take diversity training that advocates social justice, the Ontario law society is trying to say all attorneys and paralegals must file a statement of belief agreeing with social justice. If you fail to do so, they will revoke your credential. This is an example of the systemic discrimination against conservatives liberals are instituting, not just discriminating against conservatives in admittance to schools and graduate programs...

Prepare to have your Lucky Charms curdled, America. Kellogg's has apologized after a member of the Social Justice Breakfast Brigade complained about racially insensitive artwork on a package of Corn Pops. The artwork included cartoon characters shaped like corn kernels frolicking about in a shopping mall. All but one of the kernels was yellow. The lone brown kernel was working as a janitor. Well, faster than you could say snap, crackle, pop - a customer raised a stink on social media. "Why is literally the only brown corn pop on the whole cereal box the janitor? This is teaching kids...

The American Left is beyond parody. Apparently Salon would have us believe that the Paris jihad massacre happened because “the right wing media†criticized the Black Lives Matter movement. Islamic jihad? Warfare against unbelievers? The Islamic State’s stated imperative to murder French civilians? Only greasy Islamophobes take such things seriously: everyone knows Fox News and Ben Carson are the real culprits!(AP photo snipped)“And so the hate speech begins: Let Paris be the end of the right’s violent language toward activists,†by Chauncey DeVega, Salon, November 13, 2015:In a still developing situation, the city of Paris, France, is under attack by...

National Football League (NFL) owners, executives, players and union leaders announced Tuesday that they’re making plans to “utilize our platform” to effectuate “social change.” The NFL and NFL Players Association released a joint statement after a meeting Monday that discussed, among other things, players’ National Anthem protests at games. The statement declares their joint plans to use the NFL’s platform to change society and “address inequalities in our communities.” […] On Monday, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell used his platform to promote Senate legislation. Goodell and Seattle Seahawks receiver Doug Baldwin issued a letter to the Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck...

From Washington, D.C. to the NFL and Hollywood, America's idols are tumbling down. This is not a bad thing. For too long, we have wasted precious time and money worshipping these so-called “social justice” warrior hypocrites who continue to disappoint. Here’s to hoping all this disappointment will lead us back to what really matters, but don’t count on it. Huge swaths of Americans still bow at the altar of social justice. They believe government-forced “charity” will advance us to an utopian paradise where everyone enjoys the same outcome, despite personal effort, upbringing, unique abilities and education. Truth is, though, social...

Texas State University has opened two new job openings for math education professors, with the caveat that they have to demonstrate a commitment to social justice. Whether you like it or not, the Colin Kaepernick kneeling movement isn’t stopping anytime soon. Shonda Rhimes posted a photo of her, Ellen Pompeo, Jesse Williams and other members of the Grey’s Anatomy cast taking a knee while filming their 300th episode. The photo included the caption “…and we took a knee in solidarity of racial justice” to support the long list of NFL teams that have been doing the same over the weekend. The Oakland Raiders, Dallas Cowboys, and a long list of other teams have been making headlines for taking a knee, linking arms or doing both prior...

There’s a lot of competition for the biggest whopper of all, but to comprehend its magnitude, we have to understand answer one key question: Why do lies work? The answer is simple: Because we want them to. And that’s a trait that cuts across racial and ethnic lines, so all of us have always been equal in natural law. When the Great White Father offered Indian tribes treaties to last as long as the sun rose, they were accepted. When a wandering spouse swears faithfulness to their mate, the listener wants to believe every syllable. When Jews were told they’d be...

A’s outfielder Mark Canha grew up in San Jose and attended Bellarmine High School and Cal. Saturday night, he put his left hand on the right shoulder of teammate Bruce Maxwell, who was the first big-league baseball player to take a knee during the national anthem. Maxwell, who grew up in a military family, cited his experiences with racism in Huntsville, Ala., where President Trump said this week NFL players should be fired for kneeling during the anthem. The A’s catcher took a knee again before Sunday’s game, again with his hand on his heart, again with Canha at his...

The politicization of science fiction became apparent to the public with the social justice requirements added to the decision making for the Hugo Awards, of which Sad Puppies was a push-back. Now the Science Fiction Writers Association is openly penalizing and shaming conservative writers like Jon Del Arroz for pointing out its active discrimination against male writers.

Just when you thought all the possible microaggression scenarios humanly possible had been called out, more pop up. The latest offensives to avoid come courtesy of The New School, a private university in New York City. It has published an extensive list of “microinsults,” “microassaults” and “microinvalidations” to avoid, including ones specific to academia, like this one: “Seats in the classroom / auditorium / office are too small for many people.” Additional “academic setting” micros on The New School’s list include “food sold in the cafeteria does not include options for those with limited food budgets,” “being called ‘overly sensitive’...

America’s tech industry is undergoing a serious fall from grace. Once celebrated as the heralds of the future, the originators of new, disruptive business models, and the curators of the bleeding edge of free thought, the industry has since relapsed into defending the Obama-era status quo, relying on corporate welfare, and silencing any thought that doesn’t conform to an increasingly stifling and politically correct San Francisco liberalism. All this, while also often showing an appalling disregard for the rule of law, and for the legitimacy of an American election. Now, libertarian or liberal promoters of the industry may argue that part...
