BREAKING TONIGHT: Project Veritas on Saturday night released video of Bucks County, Pennsylvania Board of Elections Director Tom Freitag confirming spoiled ballots were illegally handled and destroyed. A ballot is considered “spoiled” if an election official with authority determines it is invalid. A ballot may be spoiled if it is damaged and unable to go through a scanning machine, if it is blank or if more choices are marked than permitted (overvoting). Spoiled ballots are not included in the vote count. Poll workers in Bucks County were throwing spoiled ballots in the garbage rather than preserving them for three years....

The Republican National Committee and Trump campaign on Saturday announced a new lawsuit filed in Arizona over allegations that Maricopa County "incorrectly rejected votes cast by in-person voters on Election Day." According to the lawsuit, the tabulation machine alerted voters to "facial irregularities in their ballot" and specifically mentions "ink 'bleeds,' splotches, stray marks" as the cause for ballots to be considered "spoiled."Instead of allowing voters to correct the issue, poll workers allegedly pressed voters to click a green button to override the vote. Broward’s elections supervisor accidentally mixed more than a dozen rejected ballots with nearly 200 valid ones, a circumstance that is unlikely to help Brenda Snipes push back against Republican allegations of incompetence. The mistake — for which no one had a solution Friday night — was discovered after Snipes agreed to present 205 provisional ballots to the Broward County canvassing board for inspection. As dust settles down over the storm raised by the historic constitutional referendum, the electoral body officials and politicians are raising the red flag over high figures of votes that were rejected. They fear the trend, witnessed on August 4th, could stifle some of the democratic gains that come with the new political dispensation.
