A Virginia Tech football player allegedly beat a man to death after he pretended to be a woman online to seek a sexual relationship with the player. 40-year-old restaurant worker Paul Smith was found beaten to death in his apartment on June 1. Police in New York City are searching for a man who they say attacked a 73-year-old woman at a subway station. The New York Police Department says an unknown suspect punched a 73-year-old woman in the face Wednesday evening at a Bronx subway station, sending her to the hospital for pain and swelling, according to CBS 2 New York. The suspect ran away down a set of stairs following the attack, and police are asking for the public's help in order to apprehend him.
