First, please excuse me. I never post a few-line vanity; if I post my own material, it is usually a well-thought-out and supported editorial. Forgive me, because I think this thought is important. Indulge me, because it is my birthday.I have always viewed this election in terms of how it would effect my Second Amendment Rights. But after seeing the sheer and brazen corruption in which Comey quashed any charges against Clinton -- having reviewed more than a half a million emails in less than three days -- it is obvious that if Hillary Clinton is elected President, we have...

WASHINGTON (AP) — President Barack Obama is cutting short the sentences of 214 federal inmates, including 67 serving life sentences. The White House says it's the largest batch of commutations on a single day in more than a century. Almost all the prisoners were serving time for nonviolent drug offenses. The commutations bring to 562 the total number of sentences Obama has shortened. The White House says that's more than the past nine presidents combined. Almost 200 of those who have benefited were serving life sentences. White House counsel Neil Eggleston says Obama will continue granting clemency to more inmates...

"The theme tonight, with this group that's going to get up and speak is compassion for criminals. Every one of these individuals, nearly every one of these individuals whose mother will speak was engaged in questionable lifestyle choices. Mike Brown was a criminal who tried to disarm a law enforcement officer. Eric Garner resisted arrest, Freddie Gray resisted arrest." . . . "Here’s the question I have, where are the dads?"

President Obama hosted some of hip-hop’s biggest stars for a meeting at the White House on Friday. According to a White House official Nicki Minaj, Chance the Rapper, Alicia Keys, Wale, J. Cole, and Ludacris were among the stars who sat down with Obama and some of his top advisers to talk about criminal justice reform and the My Brother’s Keeper Initiative. An official says the stars were singled out due to their work within communities to confront issues facing young people. “Through their own nonprofit work or artistic commitment, many of these artists have found ways to engage on...

Thousands of anti-Trump activists in New York City claim they will converge on Trump Tower this weekend to protest the billionaire’s so-called “fascist policies.” A Facebook page set up by Cosmopolitan Anti-fascists has roughly 5,000 RSVPs for a protest at the 68-story building hovering over 5th Avenue. Approximately 15,000 people said they are interested in attending.

"The athletes of color on the University of Missouri football team truly believe "Injustice Anywhere is a threat to Justice Everywhere," read the tweet. "We will no longer participate in any football related activities until President Tim Wolfe resigns or is removed due to his negligence toward marginalized students' experience." The...

COLUMBIA, S.C. — The Justice Department will investigate an episode at a high school here in which a white police officer is seen in a video upending the desk of a black female student in a math class and dragging her when she refused to leave the classroom. The video of a deputy sheriff, Ben Fields, in the classroom quickly went viral, and prompted the Richland County Sheriff, Leon Lott, to ask federal officials to investigate the encounter at Spring Valley High School. On the department’s Facebook page on Tuesday, Sheriff Lott said the federal investigation had begun. Local law...

One of America’s most famously Christian businesses is amassing a vast collection of Biblical antiquities. The problem is some of them may have been looted from the Middle East. In 2011, a shipment of somewhere between 200 to 300 small clay tablets on their way to Oklahoma City from Israel was seized by U.S. Customs agents in Memphis. The tablets were inscribed in cuneiform—the script of ancient Assyria and Babylonia, present-day Iraq—and were thousands of years old. Their destination was the compound of the Hobby Lobby corporation, which became famous last year for winning a landmark Supreme Court case on...

The Huffington Post (Germany) is posting peoples names and photos who comment on social media opposing the migrant invasion. If you post a comment on their site or Facebook or any social media, you will be named. The Huffington Post is a global news organization. This is putting a target on anyone’s head that refuses to go along with the leftist/Islamic war on freedom. These are the lengths the left will go to impose the sharia (Islamic law) on the unwilling. I have long said the media is the enemy. It’s why I refer to them as the enemedia. They...

-snip- Sanders answered, “What we are talking about now, number one, let’s be clear. We spend far more per capita on health care than do the people of any other country. Thirty million people today have zero health insurance. Millions more are under insured. No one debates that fact. What the story is, is how can you create universal health care for every man, woman and child and do it in a cost and effective way. Other countries do it. The United States of America can do it. Now, I know the private insurance companies don’t like this idea, we’re...

The conduct of the National Park Service over the last week might be the biggest scandal of the Obama administration. This is an expansive claim, of course. Benghazi, Fast and Furious, the IRS, the NSA, the HHS mandate—this is an administration that has not lacked for appalling abuses of power. And we still have three years to go. Even so, consider the actions of the National Park Service since the government shutdown began. People first noticed what the NPS was up to when the World War II Memorial on the National Mall was “closed.” Just to be clear, the memorial...
