A woman is claiming her late father was one of the most prolific serial killers in American history, responsible for the deaths of 50 to 70 women during a span of more than 30 years. Lucy Studey, who chose to have herself identified publicly, told Newsweek that her father, Donald Dean Studey, who died in 2013 at the age of 75, had her and her siblings help him move the bodies of the female murder victims buried near a well on his property outside Thurman, Iowa.

The Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation says there’s “no evidence” to back up a claim by a woman that her late father disposed of dozens of bodies of people he had killed decades ago in rural Iowa. Following an investigation that involved the FBI, the DCI said in a statement on Thursday that “after exhaustive efforts, no evidence or other items of concern were recovered.” The investigation had followed a Newsweek article quoting Lucy Studey, who claimed her father, Donald Studey, killed “50 to 70” people years ago – and that she helped dispose of the bodies in a well...

In the 40 years since Diana Munson lost her husband, Thurman, in a plane crash, she’s had countless conversations with fans who tell her where they were when the accident happened and she never stops them. Rarely, though, does what happened on Aug. 2, 1979, come into focus as much as it did Sunday, when Diana and the world learned that Kobe Bryant had been killed — along with his daughter Gianna and seven others — in a helicopter crash outside of Los Angeles. “[Sunday] opened up a lot of wounds for me,’’ Diana said by phone Monday. “It brought...

Yes, Uma Thurman is mad. She has been raped. She has been sexually assaulted. She has been mangled in hot steel. She has been betrayed and gaslighted by those she trusted. And we’re not talking about her role as the blood-spattered bride in “Kill Bill.” We’re talking about a world that is just as cutthroat, amoral, vindictive and misogynistic as any Quentin Tarantino hellscape. We’re talking about Hollywood, where even an avenging angel has a hard time getting respect, much less bloody satisfaction. Playing foxy Mia Wallace in 1994’s “Pulp Fiction” and ferocious Beatrix Kiddo in “Kill Bill,” Volumes 1...

The U.S.-South Korea Combined Forces Command "must continue readiness preparations to fight...

Uma Thurman and Her Hissing Hair Here's a look at Uma Thurman in the role of Medusa in "Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief," [Pic in URL] which hits theaters Feb. 12 with aspirations of knocking "Avatar" out of that top spot at the box office. And yes, that's an iPhone Thurman's got, and since Percy (Logan Lerman) is about to swing his sword at her neck, I'm guessing this scene might have a one-liner about "a killer app."

Thurman chosen to give radio speech By CORY REISS Sun Washington Bureau WASHINGTON - The Democratic Party tapped Rep. Karen Thurman to deliver its weekly radio message Saturday morning in response to an address by President Bush. She said she believes she was chosen by House Minority Leader Richard Gephardt of Missouri for...
