GAME 1: Philadelphia Eagles vs. New York Giants. The Eagles cheerleaders are a plucky bunch with big plans. They have their own 2009 calendar, and each cheerleader has her own introductory video on their website. We like their multimedia approach. GAME 1: Philadelphia Eagles vs. New York Giants. Eagles cheerleader Stephanie is a senior at the University of Delaware majoring in Nursing. This is her fourth year as an Eagles cheerleader. We like the stick-to-it-iveness that represents. GAME 2: Arizona Cardinals vs. Carolina Panthers. Freshman Cardinals cheerleader Stephanie's favorite food is filet mignon, and she enjoys cooking,...

Tennessee defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth was ejected early in the third quarter Sunday after he kicked Dallas center Andre Gurode in the face. Now the tackle expects to be punished and knows he deserves it."What I did out there was disgusting," Haynesworth said. "It doesn't matter what the league does to me. The way I feel right now, you just can't describe it."Julius Jones had just scored on a 5-yard run, putting Dallas up 20-6 in what wound up as a 45-14 victory. Gurode's helmet came off, and Haynesworth, standing over him, used his right foot to kick Gurode in...

The Titans dominated the first quarter, but the refs decided that little Peyton Manning was being treated unfairly, so they had to help him. The calls were the most grotesque jokes I've ever seen.

It's official, former Tennessee Titan RB Eddie George is now a Dallas Cowboy. George, who has rushed for over 10,000 yards in his 8-year NFL career, comes to Dallas to provide depth at a position that sorely needs it. One team's loss is another team's gain. Eddie George, the second leading rusher in the National Football League since 1996, has signed what amounts to a one-year contract with the Dallas Cowboys just days after leaving the Tennessee Titans organization. The deal is reported to be worth $2.2 million. The deal is also structured so that he could earn an additional...

The Steelers have lost eight of their past 10 meetings with Tennessee and were physically manhandled -- Bill Cowher's words -- by the Titans during the regular season.

And they are playing just six days after their emotional playoff victory against the Browns with a secondary that has injuries and other problems. No team had a better finish to the regular season than the Titans, who won 10 of their final 11 games after a 1-4 start. But the Steelers have never lost a playoff game to a division team (OK, the Titans qualify are a former division mate). After coming back from 11- and 17-point deficits in their past two games, they are not about to panic against the Titans. OK, the Steelers have yet to win a road playoff game under Cowher (0-2). But they seem to respond when nobody gives them a chance.
