An attorney for a group of protesters who filed suit alleging that in 2015 security guards for then-candidate Donald Trump assaulted them outside of Trump Tower say they’ve settled their case with Trump as the case was in the middle of jury selection. Benjamin Dictor, an attorney for the plaintiffs says, “the matter was resolved to the satisfaction of all parties on day three of jury selection.” Dictor would not comment on the terms of the settlement or if the former president admitted any wrongdoing. MSNBC host Chris Hayes appeared to be called out by one of his own colleagues for apparently mischaracterizing a viral video of an NYPD arrest as a "kidnapping." On Tuesday evening, a video shared by journalist Michelle Ihooq showed what she described as a "trans femme protestor" being pulled into an unmarked van with other protesters shouting at the officers. "NYC is taking after Portland," Ihooq wrote, noting the federal agents that were recently deployed by the Trump administration.

A review launched by Attorney General William Barr into the origins of the Russia investigation has expanded significantly amid concerns about whether the probe has any legal or factual basis, multiple current and former officials told NBC News. Jerome Corsi, a conspiracy theorist with links to both ex-Trump aide Roger Stone and Infowars host Alex Jones, has been subpoenaed to testify before a federal grand jury in Washington, D.C., Friday as part of special counsel Robert Mueller’s probe, his attorney says. Corsi, who has written such books as "Where’s the Birth Certificate?" and "Killing the Deep State: The Fight to Save President Trump" will fully comply with the Mueller team’s subpoena, according to attorney David Gray.
