WASHINGTON (AP) — President Donald Trump’s Twitter cannon roared over the weekend as the latest turn in the Russia investigation seemingly placed him on the defensive. He denied he had ever absolved Russia of meddling in the 2016 U.S. election, despite his plentiful record of voicing doubts on that question.Resurrecting an old tale from the campaign, Trump also described a diplomatic transaction between the U.S. and Iran during the Obama years as a dark plot that should have been investigated by U.S. authorities. The transaction actually was money the U.S. owed to Iran from decades ago and one in a...

As Marvel's latest superhero movie, "Black Panther," draws praise and rakes in millions of dollars at the box office, Twitter trolls have emerged across the country attempting to stoke racial division by spreading false reports about the film's largely African American fans. Over the last few days, users have posted false claims that they were attacked by blacks while going to see "Black Panther," the first movie from Marvel Studios led by a predominantly black cast. "It's very unfortunate that a film that is poised to become a cultural icon is being marred by this fake news," said Darnell Hunt,...

An Irish newspaper was forced to retract an article after it admitted that it had published a fake poll about abortion, misleading its readers into believing a majority of Irish doctors support the abortion of pre-born babies in the first trimester. The Irish Examiner splashed the headline "75% of doctors support 12-week access to abortion" over its front page on February 8. The sub-heading read: "Poll of 400 medics shows support for liberalising abortion regime", and claimed that "three out of every four GPs and hospital consultants are in favour of allowing unrestricted access to abortion up to 12 weeks...

Maybe it’s the proliferation of social media in our daily lives that has exposed us to this insanity, but we’ve seriously gone off the deep end. For some abortions rights supporters apparently, the Florida shooter wouldn’t have been able to commit this tragic crime if his birth mother had aborted him. That’s what Israeli-American reporter and former MTV Europe VJ Becky Griffin insinuated on Twitter. Woman puts baby up for adoption, he grows up to be a violent young man who will spend the rest of his life in prison for a mass murder. Tell me more about how abortions...

If one needed proof that Mueller’s investigation was an utter farce, they were in for a treat this morning when the Deputy Attorney General announced the indictment of thirteen “Russian trolls,” for allegedly interfering in the 2016 Presidential election by posting on social media accounts. Laying Mueller’s disregard of the First Amendment aside, the indictment is blatantly hypocritical in light of active social media intervention by pro-Clinton David Brock and his multi-million dollar efforts to ‘Correct The Record.’

White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders is constantly hammered by "Gotcha!" questions from reporters in the briefing room. This was dramatically underlined when the story broke about former White House staff secretary Rob Porter being accused of domestic violence by two ex-wives, one of whom even brandished a picture with a black eye. By the time it was over, Sanders had one, too. It didn't look good, and nothing Sanders said from the lectern was going to be good enough. The same outlets that couldn't muster more than one question regarding former President Bill Clinton's alleged rape of Juanita...

Quinn Norton Twitter ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ The New York Times decided to sever ties with the newest addition to their editorial page on Tuesday — just hours after they announced her arrival. Tech writer Quinn Norton ended her very short tenure at the newspaper after controversy erupted over her use of racial and homophobic slurs on Twitter. “Despite our review of Quinn Norton’s work and our conversations with her previous employers, this was new information to us,” read a statement from editorial page editor, James Bennet. “Based on it, we’ve decided to go our separate ways.” In a series of tweets,...

HARVARD LAW PROFESSOR Laurence Tribe did not wait even 24 hours to exploit yesterday’s tragic crash of a Russian regional jet shortly after it took off from Moscow, killing all 71 people aboard. On Twitter this morning, Tribe (pictured above in 2010 with former Vice President Joe Biden) strongly insinuated that the Russian government may have purposely sabotaged the plane, murdering all of those on board, in order to silence one of the passengers, Sergei Millian, who has been linked to a couple of figures involved in the Trump-Russia investigation.

With mom, dad and grandma signing up in increasing numbers, Facebook is losing younger users in the United States at a faster pace than previously estimated, researchers said Monday. A report by eMarketer said Snapchat is drawing youths away from Facebook at a quicker clip than Facebook-owned Instagram. Facebook is still growing in the US market, according to research firm, mainly due to increases in usage by older age groups. The report is the latest to highlight Facebook's problem with attracting and keeping young people, who have long been a core user base for the world's biggest social network. The...

The 2018 Winter Olympics were in full swing and Kim Yo Jong, the sister of North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un and head of their Propaganda and Agitation Department, had bizarrely become a liberal media darling. Despite the fact her job entailed censorship and glorifying public executions, numerous outlets had touted her for “stealing the show,†winning “diplomatic gold,†being the “Ivanka Trump of North Korea,†and hyping the extremely creepy North Korean cheerleading corp. CNN, who has a history of climbing into bed with murderous regimes (Iraq and Saddam Hussein) to stay relevant, was one of the more notable...

Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-N.Y.) said Sunday she believes Congress should hold President Trump accountable for the numerous allegations of sexual misconduct leveled against him. “I think he should resign, and if he’s unwilling to do that, which is what I assume, then Congress should hold him accountable. We’re obligated to have hearings,” Gillibrand said in an interview with CBS's “60 Minutes.” Gillibrand, who was among the first to call for former Sen. Al Franken (D-Minn.) to resign due to sexual misconduct allegations, was also one of several Democratic senators who late last year said Trump should resign due to sexual...

Trump supporters share more fake news on social media than any other political group, according to a new study from Oxford University. Researchers studied more than 13,000 Twitter users and 47,000 Facebook pages in the days leading up to President Donald Trump’s State of the Union Address to determine which social media users spread the most “junk” news. They discovered that Trump supporters on Twitter shared more unreliable news than all other groups combined. On Facebook, extreme conservatives share more junk news than all other audiences put together. The researchers defined “junk news” as “misleading, deceptive or incorrect information purporting...

Wow! -Senator Mark Warner got caught having extensive contact with a lobbyist for a Russian oligarch. Warner did not want a “paper trail” on a “private” meeting (in London) he requested with Steele of fraudulent Dossier fame. All tied into Crooked Hillary.

I know what you’re thinking: how on Earth a left wing-hard-core-progressive company, which enables social justice, censors conservatives, alters trends and bans people randomly for illusory “crime-think” can make profits? Well, Twitter just proved it possible, after reporting their first quarterly profit in 12 years. Now, the thing is, Twitter claims its profits in the 4th quarter of 2017 are not due to the American public, as the company actually saw a decline in US-based revenue/sales. Twitter’s revenue from outside the US grew by 17%, thus mitigating the 8% decline in United States sales.

Former President George W. Bush’s top ethics lawyer thanked President Trump for making special counsel Robert Mueller’s job “easier.” "Using Twitter on Christmas Eve to intimidate a witness (McCabe) in a criminal investigation is not a very Christian way to celebrate the holiday," Richard Painter tweeted Sunday. "But it does make Mr. Mueller’s job easier and that’s a nice thing to do. Merry Christmas!" Painter, who is now the vice-chairman of Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington, served in the Bush administration from 2005 to 2007. CREW was up until recently embroiled in a high-profile lawsuit against Trump for...
