The View’s Joy Behar defended vulgar remarks by freshman Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI), who said of Trump Thursday that she would “impeach that motherf***er.â€"I identify with her because I’m capable of saying something like that off the top of my head at a rally,†Behar said Friday. DEM CONGRESSWOMAN USES EXPLETIVE: New Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib is not apologizing for cursing out Pres. Trump in call for impeachment. Was it appropriate? The co-hosts discuss. https://t.co/84eJdJPA3S pic.twitter.com/YuhJIjMzJZ— The View (@TheView) January 4, 2019 When her co-hosts pointed out that she’s not running for office she responded by joking, “I’m not? That’s what...

enny McCarthy is speaking out about her time on "The View." During an appearance on "Watch What Happens Live" on Tuesday, the "Masked Singer" star, 46, revealed that creator Barbara Walters once wanted her to "act Republican." "... When I was on there, it was really hilarious, because they initially had me come on to be the pop culture girl because they wanted to change it," McCarthy explained to host Andy Cohen.

Ohio Republican Gov. John Kasich on Wednesday and Thursday will meet with supporters and attend several events in New Hampshire. Kasich’s appearances in New Hampshire, which is second only to Iowa in order of presidential primary contests, is likely to feed speculation that the governor is preparing to challenge President Donald Trump in 2020. Kasich has three speaking events listed on his schedule for Thursday and will also “spend time Wednesday and Thursday meeting with old and new supporters,” Kasich’s team said in a press release.

Joy Behar frequently puts her ignorance on display but on Wednesday's The View, she went above and beyond her usual lack of knowledge. In discussing the midterm elections with ABC political analyst Matthew Dowd, Behar wore her constitutional scholar mantle to observe that the Democrats lost the Senate races in the midterms the day before due to gerrymandering. It was such an appalling ignorant observation that even guest Matthew Dowd attempted to correct her as politely as possible as you can see: DOWD: Democrats won the popular vote last night by 8 million votes. But they lose U.S. Senate races...

Aide Stephanie Grisham calls the hosts “disrespectful” after they accuse the first lady of hypocrisy for her “birther” support. Melania Trump’s spokeswoman lashed out Friday at ABC’s “The View” after the panelists mocked the first lady’s statement condemning the anonymous op-ed in The New York Times written by a senior White House official. Host Sunny Hostin focused on the first lady’s line that “words are important” and “accusations can lead to severe consequences” in the statement she released Thursday criticizing the op-ed that claimed people around President Donald Trump have been attempting to contain his “bad decisions.” Melania Trump called...

Of course a bunch of rich left wingers from Hollywood think socialism is great! I love how Behar lists a bunch of countries that don't consider themselves socialist. Not to mention, As McCain points out, these are tiny, homogeneous countries

Friday, The View’s Hot Topics table, devolved into a shouting match between Republican hosts Meghan McCain and Tara Setmayer. The Never Trump, CNN commentator was a fill-in host for the day, and used the opportunity to air her grievances against Republicans who supported the President as part of a “cult.” McCain took issue with Setmayer’s rhetoric and the two sparred, as some of the liberal hosts chimed in to support Setmayer. Host Joy Behar led the segment by explaining Trump’s visit to the UK and his recorded interview with the British tabloid The Sun, where he derided Prime Minister Theresa...

ABC News’ “The View” star Joy Behar has reportedly apologized for recent comments that mocked Vice President Pence’s Christian faith. Disney CEO Bob Iger said during the Q&A portion of a shareholder meeting on Thursday that Behar apologized directly to Pence on the phone. A source close to Pence confirmed to Fox News that Behar did apologize. The shareholder who asked the question was Justin Danhof, who is the general counsel for the National Center for Public Policy Research. Danhof told Iger that some of Disney’s recent decisions are “strange when trust in media is at an all-time low” and...

More than 30,000 callers blasted ABC for allowing The View’s Joy Behar to spew “anti-Christian bigotry,” but the parent company has not taken action on any of their complaints. An estimated 30,588 angry viewers called the television network as of Wednesday morning, outraged after ABC broadcast an episode of The View this month in which co-hosts Joy Behar and Sunny Hostin mocked Vice President Mike Pence for his religious beliefs. Media Research Center president Brent Bozell urged the television network to apologize for allowing religious bigotry to be tolerated on network television. The MRC posted contact information for 14 advertisers...

ABC got at least one thing right about “The View” — its name. As far as the hosts are concerned, there is only one view: theirs. Sure, they’ll invite a token “conservative” on to add fireworks, but even that doesn’t get in the way of the hosts’ daily routine of smug Middle America-bashing. If the idea is to offend viewers, it’s working.Earlier this week, host Joy Behar did her share of the insulting when she responded to an episode of CBS’s “Celebrity Big Brother,” which happens to feature fired Trump staffer Omarosa Manigault Newman. On Monday night’s episode, Omarosa played...

Vice President Mike Pence on Wednesday criticized ABC’s "The View" for being religiously intolerant after co-host Joy Behar compared his Christian faith to mental illness. Discussing Omarosa Manigault Newman’s comments about Pence, Behar said Pence’s belief that Jesus speaks to him qualified as "mental illness." Co-host Sunny Hostin also said Pence put a "religious veneer" on his views and said it is "dangerous" having him in office. Pence said that criticism "comes with this job," but he argued that this particular criticism went beyond him and insulted the faith of all believers. "An overwhelming major of Americans cherish their faith,...

So, The View finally addressed their embarrassing celebratory reaction to news that Donald Trump instructed ex-National Security Adviser Michael Flynn to contact the Russians. It was under the impression that this occurred when Donald Trump was a candidate during the 2016 election. Cue the champagne popping on the Left. Here’s the smoking gun, right? Nope. ABC News’ Brian Ross, who reported on this story, botched it. It was President-elect Trump instructing Mr. Flynn to establish your usual connections with foreign governments from a new incoming administration. If Mr. Ross’ name doesn’t sound familiar, he was the guy who reported that...

Co-host of 'The View' had a gleeful, even delusional response — just one example of the mainstream media's jubilance “It’s like she just won Publishers Clearing House,” joked Laura Ingraham Friday night on Fox News’ “The Ingraham Angle.” She was referencing the incredibly gleeful reaction of co-host Joy Behar of “The View” to the news earlier in the day that General Mike Flynn was pleading guilty to lying to the FBI. Behar, like many others in the mainstream media, took the news as a promise of later prosecutions for President Donald Trump or others in the administration. The theory is...

Tomi Lahren explained why she is pro-choice during an appearance on "The View" Friday morning. Lahren, host of "Tomi" on The Blaze TV, said it doesn't make sense to support limited government, but still want the government to dictate women’s health care choices. "I am someone that loves the Constitution. I am someone that is for limited government. So I can’t sit here and be a hypocrite and say I’m for limited government but I think that the government should decide what women do with their bodies," Lahren said."Stay out of my guns, and you can stay out of my...

Mid-show Friday, The View brought on Trump’s Director of African-American Outreach, Omarosa Manigault, to talk about Trump’s plans to help the black community. The conversation quickly turned nasty, with hosts Joy Behar and Sunny Hostin repeatedly hammering Omarosa to defend Trump. But Omarosa wouldn’t let the democratic talking points slide, even attacking the panel for not focusing on “real issues.”

Leave it to ABC’s The View to connect Christmas – the celebration of the world’s most important birth – to abortion. But that it did. According to Whoopi Goldberg, the right to publicly celebrate Christmas is the same as a “woman’s right to choose.” During The View on Dec. 13, Goldberg brought up a story from Texas where a “public school teacher was forced to remove a display, a – a Christmas display of Linus,” based off of the Peanuts film A Charlie Brown Christmas. That display, she added, included a Biblical quote from the cartoon movie reading, “For unto...

Wednesday on The View, the panel made some wild predictions about what would happen during Donald Trump’s presidency. But not before making some clearly factually inaccurate statements. The panel blamed Trump for supposedly taking away people’s health insurance already before warning that Mike Pence was going to take away women’s rights and LGBT rights. Whoopi Goldberg started off the discussion by hyping the notion that Trump and the GOP presidency was going to take away insurance from a lot of people when they repealed the Affordable Care Act. Goldberg then blamed Trump for her friend losing her health insurance and...
