Newt Gingrich and Howard Dean both left pants on the ground regarding the Shirley Sherrod Racism incident in their interviews with Fox News Chris Wallace. We learned earlier this month that a leftwing group affiliated with the website “Journolist” have plans in place to defeat those who they consider enemies by hurling the Leftwing invective “Racist” at enemies whether they are Racist or not and whether there is evidence of the charge or not. Many of these “Journalists” write for major newspapers around the country so they regularly access and influence the public square of ideas. In fact they may...

http://www.kdvr.com/news/kdvr-theives-free-victim-arrested-txt,0,231586.story To any attorneys out there: What is the citizens’ responsibility/authority to respond to a foreign invasion like 1776 or 1812, or a Red Dawn scenario? Does the govt just want us to sit in our houses and hide, or do we get to actively defend our country, state, city, neighborhood, house, family, selves? The govt (of, by, for us) refuses to do what they are charged with doing by us. We cannot charge someone to do for us that which we don’t have the authority to do for ourselves. Ipso facto, we should be able to retake that authority...

Elena Kagan's controversial "Final Conflict" thesis on socialism was written in 1981 when she was 21 years old. Professor Harvey Klehr, an expert on the socialist and communist movements, told me that while he sensed "a lurking sympathy" in the document for the left-wing of the Socialist Party, he didn't find a "red flag" that would derail her nomination. Kagan's thesis covered the rise and fall of the socialist movement in New York City from 1900-1933. Clearly, however, the socialist movement has risen again, under the cover of the "progressive" tradition that includes not only the President who appointed Kagan...

During the 2008 race, while Obama, Biden and McCain made the Sunday show rounds, Sarah Palin skipped what had once been an obligatory stop for national candidates. And since then, she still hasn't appeared on a Sunday public affairs show. But that changes next week. Palin, now an employee of Fox News, will appear on Fox News Sunday. Host Chris Wallace said that Palin will be next Sunday's "special guest," mentioning that she's speaking at the upcoming tea party convention. From that description, it sounds like Palin will be on more in the role of political figure than pundit.

WASHINGTON, Nov 18 (Reuters) - U.S. Republican Senator John McCain on Wednesday strongly defended the top advisers from his 2008 presidential campaign in the face of sharp criticism from his vice presidential running mate, Sarah Palin. McCain, in a telephone interview with Reuters, singled out campaign manager Steve Schmidt and senior adviser Nicolle Wallace for praise after Palin blasted the pair in her memoir, "Going Rogue: An American Life." "There's been a lot of dust flying around in the last few days and I just wanted to mention that I have the highest regard for Steve Schmidt and Nicolle Wallace...

Depictions ‘took place entirely in her imagination,’ says Wallace. NBC NEWS and NEWS SERVICES NEW YORK - Former McCain campaign senior adviser Nicolle Wallace says Sarah Palin's book "Going Rogue" is "based on fabrications," and that the basis for Palin’s depictions of her and former McCain campaign director Steve Schmidt as villains "took place entirely in her imagination." In a statement to The Rachel Maddow Show, the former McCain spokesperson repeatedly used the word "fiction" to describe Palin's narrative and echoed criticisms by other former McCain staffers. "She [Palin] probably has a legitimate complaint that things could have been better...

Nicolle Wallace: She is who we thought she was. Nicolle Wallace: She is who we thought she was. HER TURN! Fri Nov 13 2009 07:27:12 ET Going Rogue: An American Life by Sarah Palin Chapter Four; Section 8, pages 255-257 By the third week in September, a “Free Sarah” campaign was under way and the press at large was growing increasingly critical of the McCain camp’s decision to keep me, my family and friends back home, and my governor’s staff all bottled up. Meanwhile, the question of which news outlet would land the first interview was a big deal, as...

The rumors are true, according to Sarah Palin: The McCain-Palin campaign was not a happy family. And she says that most of her legal bills were generated defending what she called frivolous ethics complaints, but she reveals that about $500,000 was a bill she received to pay for the McCain campaign vetting her for the VP nod. She said when she asked the McCain campaign if it would help her financially, she was told McCain's camp would have paid all the bills if he'd won; since he lost, the vetting legal bills were her responsibility.

Here is video of Rush Limbaugh today in an clip from his extensive interview with Chris Wallace saying that President Obama is "destroying" the private sector in America, and that he "has to think it may be on purpose." I think Rush is absolutely right. Obama's policies are designed to enlarge government and shrink the private sector. He has no desire to help small businesses to flourish or to encourage the expansion of a strong private sector. You can see the entire interview here.

H/T to Glenn Beck) Glenn Beck just ran a snippet of something that Patrick Kennedy said on the 25th. Here's the full quote at least is it is reported by the Providence Journal. (it's important to note that Kennedy's remarks are in response to the health care debate) My family’s seen it up close too much with assassinations and violence in political life. It’s a terrible thing when people think that in order to get their point across they have to go to the edge of violent rhetoric and attack people personally,” Kennedy told the nurses, union officials and AARP...
