What is this world coming to? Another day brings another definition of love, marriage, religion, truth, civil rights and the church. Can anyone remember when there was more confusion? Only in a culture bombarded by "tolerance" could these issues be debated with any seriousness. It has been said loudly and proudly that gay marriage is a civil-rights issue. While Denis Leary battles blazes on "Rescue Me," the FDNY is starting them with the 2007 New York City Firefighters Calendar, which poses 12 sizzling studs bare-chested (some of whom are pictured below) at iconic Big Apple sites. The heroes will sign copies from 5-8 p.m. Thursday at The Original Firestore, 17 Greenwich Ave. Calendars ($14.99 each) can also be snagged in bookstores and elsewhere around town.
