  • Flooding across the world over the past year (worse than Houston, TX) VANITY

    09/08/2017 10:30:26 AM PDT · by ransomnote · 27 replies ^ | 9/8/2017 | Vanity
I've come across a collection of videos showing epic flood footage taken from all over the world. Of the 5 I watched, some contain portions of footage from other videos (duplicate) but most is unique. The floods are of jaw dropping proportion and are taken from Spain, Italy, Turkey, India, China, New Zealand etc. It's hard to fathom how this flooding has been taken place on such an epic scale but I've not seen the footage anywhere else. Even in my state, there was apparently a "historic" flood a few months ago that I never saw on TV. The footage...

    BBC News ^ | May 12, 2017 | By Chris Baraniuk
A massive ransomware campaign appears to have infected a number of organisations around the world. Computers in thousands of locations have apparently been locked by a program that demands $300 (£230) in Bitcoin. There have been reports of infections in more than 70 countries, including the UK, US, China, Russia, Spain, Italy and Taiwan. Many security researchers are linking the incidents together. "This is huge," said Jakub Kroustek at Avast. Another, at cyber-security firm Kaspersky, said that the ransomware had been spotted cropping up in 74 countries and that the number was still growing. There were a number of reports...

Hackers using a tool stolen from the United States government conducted extensive cyberattacks on Friday that hit dozens of countries around the world, severely disrupting Britain’s public health system and wreaking havoc on computers elsewhere, including Russia. The tool was leaked by a group calling itself the Shadow Brokers, which has been dumping stolen N.S.A. hacking tools online since last year. Microsoft rolled out a patch for the vulnerability in March, but hackers apparently took advantage of the fact that vulnerable targets — particularly hospitals — had yet to update their systems. The malware was circulated by email. Targets were...
  • The Clintons Employ Muslim Brotherhood Officials? You Can’t Be Serious

I don’t know who is more shocked about this, me or Huma Abedin, but it turns out that a former top Clinton Foundation official is also … a senior Muslim Brotherhood official who has just been arrested for – you’ll never guess – inciting violence in Egypt. Not to worry, I’m sure it was only moderate violence. The Washington Free Beacon’s Adam Kredo reports on Gehad [as in Jihad] el-Haddad: "A senior Muslim Brotherhood official who, until recently, had been employed by the William J. Clinton Foundation was arrested in Cairo on Tuesday and charged with inciting violence.Gehad el-Haddad served...

BONN, Germany (Reuters) - Almost 80 percent of people worldwide are perturbed about global warming and most want tough action to fix the problem, according to a new study that the United Nations touted as a spur to an international climate deal later this year. The report, based on consultations with 10,000 people in 75 nations from Afghanistan to Zimbabwe, also showed that 66 percent viewed measures to tackle warming, such as more wind or solar energy, as a chance to improve their quality of life. Christiana Figueres, head of the U.N. Climate Change Secretariat, said the findings were "important...

From The National "Catholic" Reporter: "Gay Catholic leaders have expressed their pleasure following reports that Pope Francis, in an unprecedented move, met last week with a transgender Spaniard at the Vatican. While the Vatican has yet to confirm the meeting, it has been widely reported in the press, and there has been no Vatican denial. 'I think that his meeting with the transgender man was a gesture not only of pastoral care, but of genuine interest in learning about the transgender experience from a firsthand source,' Francis DeBernardo, executive director of New Ways Ministry, told NCR in an email. Said...
  • US will work to keep new coal plants from being built overseas

The Obama administration on Tuesday said it will seek to discourage the construction of coal plants in foreign countries through the World Bank and other multilateral development institutions. The effort marks the latest step in President Obama’s initiative to combat the effects of global warming through executive power in lieu of action from the divided Congress. Under the new policy, the U.S. government will oppose public financing for coal projects in all but the world's poorest countries unless they meet standards on par with tough new proposed regulations for any new coal plants in the United States. Opponents of the...

Israeli and Jewish targets all over the world are likely to be sought out by terrorist organizations in the coming weeks, the Israeli government’s Counter-Terrorism Bureau warned in strikingly strident tones on Monday, listing dozens of countries where it said it had “concrete” indications of a terrorist threat. It cited concerns about terrorist acts timed to coincide with the forthcoming Rosh Hashana (New Year), Yom Kippur and Succot festivals, and also said that the anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks in the US was likely to be “a favored period” for al-Qaeda and other global jihadist groups to attempt to...
  • Myanmar: Saudi Arabia is responsible for the jihad against Rakhine Buddhists

The Muslim Issue presents truth to power: Did Buddhists invade Muslim land or did Muslims force themselves, like always, on the Buddhists of Myanmar? Why are they refusing to leave? Remember the rules of the game: while Muslims slaughter, attack, invade and force their ugly fascist ideology on innocent people – they are always the victims. Be it in Thailand, Indonesia, Myanmar, India, Bangladesh, Israel, Nigeria, Kenya, Ethiopia, Lebanon, Israel, Chechnya, Kosovo, etc. etc. the scenario is always the same. There never exist any responsibility or consciousness for personal conduct within the Muslim community. Islam is an ideology based on...

This is the true story of Gun control from around the world, especially in the 20th century. People all over the world are reporting they are hearing strange sounds and recording them on video. A compilation of these separate incidents has been uploaded to YouTube, and one fact is chillingly clear. Whatever these unearthly noises are, they all sound similar, and are, so far, unexplained. It's easy to say that these strange sounds, sometimes extremely loud, and other times seemingly far off, are the product of a hoax. But their similarity to each other, and the fact they have been recorded in so many diverse areas of the world, leads one to believe that such a hoax...

Tens of thousands of people took to the streets in Moscow today, in the largest of more than 70 protests across Russia, to voice their anger at alleged election fraud and to demand that the results of the parliamentary elections be cancelled, a new election be held, and Prime Minister Vladimir Putin resign. Opposition leader Boris Nemtsov, one of the organizers of the rally, explained the protesters’ demands to ABC News. “Our demand is to cancel these criminal elections, because Putin stole about 13 million votes. Secondly, to fire Mr. [Vladimir] Churov, who is responsible for the election and to...

Worldwide pro and anti-Israel rallies outside the Arab world the past few days revealed lopsided support for Israel, with 800 pro-Israel Christians rallying in London and 150 pro-Arabs, including 20 anti-Zionist Jews, in New York. Mainstream headlines spreading fear of huge protests, and even a “Third Intifada" in Israel, have failed to ignite the Arab street, where most demonstrations have been limited to numbers ranging from a few dozen to 200. Outside of Israel, enthusiasm for the Palestinian Authority also has been limited to college campuses and anti-Israel advertising on buses and subway trains. A pro-Arab rally in New York...

PARIS (AFP) – A "tsunami of obesity" is unfurling across the world, resulting in a near-doubling of the numbers of dangerously overweight adults since 1980, doctors warned on Friday. More than half a billion men and women -- nearly one in nine of all adults -- are clinically obese, according to research by a team from Imperial College London, Harvard and the World Health Organisation (WHO). In 2008, the latest year for which statistics were available, nearly one woman in seven and one man in 10 were obese, it found. Being too fat causes three million premature deaths each year...

The Government has announced plans to introduce a certificate of Irish heritage for up to 70 million people of Irish descent around the world who do not qualify for citizenship. Minister for Foreign Affairs Micheál Martin said at the weekend he had decided to proceed with the initiative, which was first proposed at the Global Irish Economic Forum at Farmleigh last year. The certificates will be issued by a third party agency acting under licence from the Department of Foreign Affairs, which is considering charging a fee for each document issued. The initiative is intended to be self-financing, according to...
