VIDEOWriter's block was definitely the greatest crises of my life. In fact, I suffered from it so horribly that it almost killed me. Fortunately, over a four year period of trial and error experimentation, I developed practical methods on how to easily overcome that ailment. I chronicled these methods in my 2012 guide, "How To Overcome Writer's Block In Less Than An Hour" which is now available for FREE on Amazon Kindle until March 24. I wish I could make it permanently free but that is all the time Amazon will permit. If you don't suffer from writer's block or...

It’s just the flu, bro. https://www.foxnews.com/health/cdc-coronavirus-thanksgiving-urges-against-travel Advice to ignore from the CDC - don’t travel to visit people for thanksgiving (see link above). - https://www.washingtonpost.com/business/2020/11/18/map-covid-risk-thanksgiving/ Washington post calculates that there is a 40% chance that someone at a ten person thanksgiving dinner will be Covid positive - 90% in El Paso. I've had this story worked out in my mind for going on twenty years. 1989. But now... I am stuck. I started a book based on it, but I'm no writer, obviously. I constantly re-read and edit, and re-read and edit more. Probably because I've posted part of the story on sites that critique writing. Anyway. I've hit a wall. A large brick wall. I've since stopped editing my own stuff, but try as I might, I can't write another chapter that I'm okay with. How do you, in your experience, get past it? I'll appreciate any help anyone can...

I am posting this thread because I am CONVINCED that Rick Bragg made use of interns to write the major portions of his articles because he suffered from the VERY COMMON plague of Writer's Block. Too bad Mr. Bragg didn't consult YOURS TRULY before he made way too much use of intern services (not in the Bill Clinton sense). I too once suffered TERRIBLY from Writer's Block and with HUNDREDS of my articles posted both on the Net and Off, it is safe to say that I know how to AVOID writer's block (I use "avoid" rather than "overcome" for...
