Hilaria Baldwin made an emotional post on Instagram, showing her hand intertwined with husband Alec Baldwins and says she has fears he will develop PTSD after he accidentally shot dead cinematographer Halyna Hutchins on the set of 'Rust'.
Hilaria showed her support for her actor husband as she stood by his side. It was the first time since the fatal accident that the Baldwins spoke to the press.
She later shared a heartfelt post on Instagram: 'I love you and I'm here,' she captioned a picture of her and her husband's intertwined hands.
Hilaria said she drove her family to Vermont after the October 21 event, worried about her husband's mental health, according to the New York Post.
'I brought [Alec] up here because we have to mourn Halyna's death,' she told the outlet. 'Alec had a really traumatic thing happen, and I am trying to limit the PTSD.'
'You look at what happens to soldiers and police officers when something like this happens, it's traumatic. We just came up here for quiet,' she added.
She revealed her husband felt 'awful' and they were 'trying to find quiet,' so she could take care of him.
'He needs space for me to take care of him and his mental health,' she said.
Early Saturday, Alec Baldwin talked to the media for the first time since the accident.
'What do you want to know?' a visibly agitated Alec said as his wife, Hilaria, held up her cell phone while apparently recording the impromptu news briefing on the side of the road.
'The day I arrived in Santa Fe to start shooting, I took her to dinner with Joel, the director,' he said. 'We were a very, very well oiled crew shooting a film together and then this horrible event happened.'

Listened to his recent video.....easy to see the guy is panicked about being charged.....anyone would be frankly.....but he could also get sued. The guy could loose a lot if this doesn’t go the way he hopes for.

Watch and see, Hilaria is going to use this moment in time to try getting pregnant again. At his moment of weakness.
He is a murderer. Trying to paint him as a victim doesn’t change that simple fact. He took a gun, pointed it at someone, and pulled the trigger. That is on him.
I have been both a soldier and a police officer, and not I nor anyone I knew ever shot an innocent, unarmed woman. And we would never thought of anyone who had as a hero or a victim.
He earned it and deserves it. Shut up bitch.

Baldwin thought he was above reproach. He’s arrogant and snide, and deserves this ill fated turn of bad luck.
I’d like to wish both of them well, but I’d rather pray that they find the justice they so richly deserve.
It’s time that this f_ckwad learns that everything happens for a reason, at the Lord’s choosing of time and location.
It’s a shame that a young mother had to lose her life to teach him that lesson, and if he fails to learn it his eternal station will no doubt be a bit warmer.
