Democrat Massachusetts Rep. Ayanna Pressley, a far-left ’Squad’ member, called for allowing “incarcerated citizens” to vote in federal elections while referencing her support for permitting individuals as young as 16 years of age to cast a ballot.
Pressley made the comments during a Wednesday press conference while introducing legislation alongside Democrat Vermont Sen. Peter Welch that would restore felons’ voting rights.
“That’s why we’re here today, to introduce the Inclusive Democracy Act — a historic, brand new, first-of-its-kind bill that will end the stain of felony disenfranchisement in America and guarantee the right to vote for incarcerated and formerly incarcerated citizens,” Pressley said. […]

If you are serving a sentence in jail or prison you do not get to vote.
Afterwards, when the justice system is finished with you, then I am open to "all rights and privileges are restored". But not before.

Incarcerated folks voting? Nope. Wards of the state until released and any eligibility is reinstated after time served and probation done.
16 year loss voting? Nope. Critical thinking does not really begin until 18-21 years old and comes into fruition at about 24-26 for most people. Time to go back to 26 and property owners but instead of only males voting, all legal citizens over the age for voting (e.g. suffrage) and eligible will be able to vote.
We need to enact an election law where only property owners can vote.

Apparently, the radical proggies did not get the number of Millennials expected. And, they are bleeding Black and Latino voters.
Not necessarily a bad idea, but I think a more appropriate idea would be to require all voters to pass the civics test given to those seeking naturalized citizenship. Of course that would never be allowed by Demoncrats, as that would decimate their voter base.
