A creepy individual dressed in a gingerbread man costume wreaked havoc on a Virginia neighborhood this week by attempting to force his way into multiple homes.
CBS affiliate WUSA9 reports the incidents took place Wednesday night in Arlington. As seen in the video below, someone wearing an inflatable gingerbread costume was captured on a doorbell camera trying to enter the witnesses' residence.
"My wife said, 'Hey listen, there's this guy, he didn't ring the doorbell, he's just standing there, and he's in this gingerbread man costume,'" one man told the news station. Unsure of how to handle the situation, the family stayed inside their home and watched as the stranger attempted to open the front door.

Glazed.
Don’t mess with a World War I Doughboy (in his prime).
I won first prize at my school for dressing as a Gingerbread Man in first grade. My mom sewed that costume for me. It was one of my favorite stories growing up, so I asked her if she could make it for me. She was a talented seamstress, so she agreed. I was too cute, if I say so myself.
I still have a fondness for gingerbread anything, but not criminals.
From Shrek.
You can see them both in the upcoming film “Reindeer Games!” ;-)
Say hello to Mr. Remington 870!

don’t try this in colorado: we have a strong court-tested-and-accepted Castle Doctrine law that protects folks in their homes from home invasions by uninvited strangers, allowing us to kill invading strangers the moment they step through our exterior household thresholds ... period ...
“Not my gumdrop buttons!”
As much as it costs to live in Arlington, and you have to put up with weird crap like this?
Could just move a bit to the west to Manassas. Same dysfunction, half the price.
The whole story sounds half-baked to me.
