did I miss anybody? Plenty, but I'll start with Sid Ceasar, Steve Allen, and Jackie Gleason.

Bob Barker? Michael Jordan? Oprah? Regis? Are you out of your mind?
No Milton Berle? No Jackie Gleason? No Carol Burnett?

All time? Let's try that again:
10 - Steve Allen
9 - David Letterman
8 - Jack Webb
7 - Lucille Ball
6 - Andy Griffith
5 - Bill Cosby
4 - Dick Van Dyke
3 - Bob Hope
2 - Jackie Gleason
1 - Johnny Carson
We can argue about the order, but counting "all time," this is a more representative list than yours (with all due respect)...

Don't leave out the classic actors. James Cagney, Humphrey Bogart, Rita Hayworth, Gene Kelly, Spencer Tracy, Ava Gardner, Katherine Hepburn. From the "modern era", I'd go with Paul Newman, Elizabeth Taylor, Steve McQueen, Meryl Streep, Dustin Hoffman, and James Earl Jones. All great performers of some depth and ability.

Nonsense.
Frank Sinatra, The Beatles, and John Wayne all affected the entertainment landscape far more than many names on that list.

Though most of his genius took place off-camera, Rod Serling should be on the list.

You do realize, age and experience is going to affect how everyone views this...my list would not necessarily be comprehensive to anyone under the age of thirty, so I won't post it...but consider Alfred Hitchcock, and just for laughs to see how many remember......Kukla, Fran and Ollie.

Michael Jordan, an athlete, on this list? I don't think so but if an athlete is going to make it it would have to be Muhammed Ali.
