May Terri Schindler-Schiavo rest in peace and God have mercy on us all.

And Death Shall Have No Dominion

And death shall have no dominion. Dead men naked they shall be one With the man in the wind and the west moon; When their bones are picked clean and the clean bones gone, They shall have stars at elbow and foot; Though they go mad they shall be sane, Though they sink through the sea they shall rise again; Though lovers be lost love shall not; And death shall have no dominion.

And death shall have no dominion. Under the windings of the sea They lying long shall not die windily; Twisting on racks when sinews give way, Strapped to a wheel, yet they shall not break; Faith in their hands shall snap in two, And the unicorn evils run them through; Split all ends up they shan't crack; And death shall have no dominion.

And death shall have no dominion. No more may gulls cry at their ears Or waves break loud on the seashores; Where blew a flower may a flower no more Lift its head to the blows of the rain; Though they be mad and dead as nails, Heads of the characters hammer through daisies; Break in the sun till the sun breaks down, And death shall have no dominion.

-Dylan Thomas

***

For we know that since Christ was raised from the dead, he cannot die again; death no longer has mastery over him.

- Romans 6:9 (NIV)

Last night I was reading an old favorite 'Harry Potter and the sorcerers stone'.
Great read...even as I am older!
LOL

Anyway...I came to the part where Harry meets up with Voldemort drinking the blood of the Unicorn. In the book "Harry Potter and the sorcerers stone" Unicorn Blood will extend life, but that life would be a half life, a cursed life because something defenseless and pure was murdered to save the murderers own life.

That made me think of Terri Husband....'he who must not be named'.

I am still sad for my country over this.

I will be going into the armed forces soon...yet...I do not know who is the worse enemy...
Those who would destroy American culture by drinking the blood of the unicorn, or the terrorists, who have killed most of the unicorns in their countries already. You would not believe the mass graves they are still finding in Iraq.

My grandfather died last year, one of the last of the greatest generation....
This would have brought great sadness and shame to him.
I know it.
I have pictures of him that he gave me as his unit, along with the British soldiers liberated the death camps.

We have come a long way.

thank you Michelle Malkin for the awesome poem.

God bless America...

Tom.
