Better watch or Mary Landrieu might slug you! ;)

They didn't call it "The Big Sleazy" for nothin'.
I actually had to view this twice to make sure it wasn't a spoof...is it? It reminds me of the days when I couldn't tell the difference between the SNL spoof ads and the real ones.
This is about the most despicable thing I have ever seen. And, it just gives more weight to my reference to WalMart as "white trash central." Remember, white trash is color blind! ;)
Yes, they are no better than the criminal element. Video will play a definite part in their prosecution, if that is ever allowed. But people that have no moral compass do what is most convenient in times of crisis. It shows their true character.

New Orleans police have always been corrupt, more so than most large city police forces. Sixty years ago to my own experience in NO, they were corrupt, most could be "bought".
Thanks for starting this thread. I had posted this video on the Katrina thread but I think it was missed in all the posts there. The saddest part about this video is that this sort of behavior may be so common among law enforcement down there that these officers probably won't be punished. Sadly, I have little doubt that there are other similar lowlifes in the nicer neighborhoods robbing private residences as I write this. NOPD have always been notoriously dirty and they sully the reputations good law enforcement officers everywhere else by there overt corruption.
Be heartened. I just finished watching a news conference by a very intelligent, well-spoken deputy police chief of NO--Warner Riley. They will hold daily news conferences this week. I suspect dems from on high called down there and told them to get their act together. When they have pople like this man, I have to wonder that we haven't heard from him until now. But he was good. And the dems need him.
