Ok...name a major candidate who does not have major ties to the East Coast Media?
Rudy and Hillary, obvious. Romney, big wig wfrom Boston. Thompson was a big time actor on NBC.
One could say Obama, but there are other reasons why the media pays attention to him, plus he comes from Chicago which has is a major media market, with ties to the East Coast media.
Hunter is from San Diego and Tom is from Colorado and have no ties to the East Coast media machine.
Good point but there’s a lot of big money supporting the media as well. I have no doubt that the big money advertisers have plenty of say over who gets promoted and who gets ignored.
