I notice that his graduate degrees are in aerospace engineering and particle physics. Not ecology. Not environmental science. Not meteorology. Not climatology. Not anything relating to "environmental policy". Must be nice to grab a full professorship in a field in which you have no formal training. Myself, I've always liked taking up space. Maybe they'll make me Professor of Astronomy? I'd be just as qualified as he is.

I noticed that too. The guy’s an expert on everything that’s a contemporary theme: global warming, nuclear non-proliferation......... If tomorrow acid rain makes a come back in the news, I’m sure he’ll be an immediate expert on that too.
