This government does not care. It is more important what the largest portion of the electorate sees than what actually happens.
We are finished as a global power and as a global force for prosperity and the government doesn't care about that. All that is important is what the electorate FEELS is right.
We have become what the founders loathed when making up the original documents. Opportunity for excellence does not matter, only a governing to feelings does.
This however is exactly what Marx wanted for his control of his fellow man. A proletariat were all that matters is a FEELING that at least the rich (bourgeoisie) were not getting more than their “fair” share.
The requirement for this is a lack of understanding that members of their rank could be considered part of the bourgeoisie on a sliding scale. That is that as members of the proletariat excel and achieve better rewards, they could now become bourgeoisie too. But of course those that excel are fewer in number than those who don't and thus can be pushed aside and the great new thing (discovery, process, invention, item) could still taken and had by the proletariat.
So the lower ranks of society are on a sliding scale and any excellence could cause them to slide above that class because of that excellence and it's reward. This forever dooms society to a mediocrity where consistency of lower achievement (and lack of rewards there of) assures that the achievers will never surface to the now dreaded rewards for the “excellence” of performance. Condemning the U.S. to mediocrity for generations.
Marx, Engels, and Lenin are now surely the holy Trinity of the popular / progressive mindset religion of the electorate. An electorate who no longer sees nor revels in possibility of the reward for getting above the current station. They are assured of that anyway, or so that is what their religion now says.
So the 51% have gotten exactly what they thought they wanted. But now we are done as a country of excellence of ideas and achievement. The voters have doomed themselves to never getting out of that class because that class is locked into their mindset of mediocrity. Not realizing it is forever.
However now because there is NO new world to start over in, the world is doomed to mediocrity for eternity. Worse is because there is no where for them to go to to make a new start possibly the world is doomed too. So is this HELL? Is this how empires die? There is no where left for the spark of achievement for any and all to reignite.
Forgotten by the Democrats is that with no more spark of achievement, nor incubation of excellence our chance of paying off the debts they have incurred can never be realized here in any life time.
All we have left is to give away the real tangible items owned by our country. Those items now are no longer "marked to the market" but at auction style value for immediate use.
Meaning our countries love of freedom, it's cherishing of the individual, or appreciation for excellence are gone. That means our national parks, our 4th of July celebrations, our thanksgiving dinners with family and friends are all gone.
In 75 years the U.S. will be forgotten except as receding foot note in history.
