Jesse Ventura Says Gov. Sarah Palin "Is a Quitter" - Video 7/15/09

Here is video of former Minnesota Gov. Jesse Ventura on Larry King Live where he talked about Sonia Sotomayor as a Supreme Court Nominee, new Minnesota Sen. Al Franken, and Gov. Sarah Palin.

On Sotomayor, he says she is perfectly qualified and should be confirmed.

Ventura said he thinks it's great that Minnesota has elected a Pro Wrestler (himself) and now a comedian to office. He thinks that's what the Founding Fathers intended. Ventura said he flipped a coin to decide if he would seek that Senate seat, and it came up "tails" - not to run.

On Sarah Palin, Ventura says flat out that she is a "quitter." He said if she has any plans for higher office, he would not vote for her because if the "heat gets too hot, she is liable to quit." . . . . (Watch Video)

And Jesse Ventura lives in Mexico now, among people he calls “lovely brown people”. He lives with solar energy, so that gives him brownie points among the global warming crowd.

He ran away from America, and we’re supposed to listen to him talk about Sarah Palin as a quitter?

As I recall, he declined to run for re-election as governor. Doesn’t that make him a quitter? Why wouldn’t he have run on his record to get a 2nd term? What’s wrong with him? Why would he make such important decisions such as running for public office and all that entails, based on the flip of a coin? Why should anyone listen to him?

Cripplecreek says Jesse Ventura is a moron.

A while back I heard an interview with him and he was talking about global warming. He says he knows global warming is real because it gets hot in his car when he sits in traffic at the border (while escaping to the peaceful freedom of Mexico)

Minnesota has a tendency to elect strange birds to elected office....and this was one who was a “lame duck” from the first day as Governor.

I am also trying to figure out how the Alaskans who elected Sarah can have brains that are so much less frostbitten than the Minnesotans who elected Ventura and Al Franken.

I think the word is “Resigned”.

And she must be scaring the hell out of the Democrats if they sent the muscle man into the frey.

The funny thing is I think he was talking about the border at El Paso and it does get hotter when you cross into Juarez- not because of global warming but because of the geography. El Paso sits in a base of some mountains and as you go into Juarez, you drop into almost a bowl. El Paso is blessed to be on those mountains so it is slightly cooler (actually a pretty pleasant climate in El Paso compared to everything around it).

What is Ventura? I never really followed him.

I always pegged him as a libertarian type. But he seems to be a loony liberal truther whack job type. Lately. Anyways.
