My argument was that the right hates and so does the left. The fact I don’t generally hate people for their liberal/conservative views doesn’t mean they don’t belong in “our” country no matter who founded it. Not sure where “falls apart” fits in, but if you say so.

No, moral relativism will not work here. Orwell’s “five minute hate” has a home on the Left, not the Right, in this country. We conservatives are not united by whom we hate, but by what: attacks on our ancient liberties. Lefties hate us just for existing; for proof, look at Sarah Palin, whose greatest offense is being a happy mother.
