Here is video of Bill O'Reilly talking to Glenn Beck last night about Gov. Sarah Palin's debut on Fox News as a Contributor.
Beck said his opinion of Palin is that "she is the most guarded woman I have ever seen in my life." Beck said "Palin knows she is swimming in a tank full of sharks." He told the story that when he first saw her the day of the interview, Palin was "googling" the "25 windows" of the Statue of Liberty. Beck said he asked her, "what 25 windows?" She responded "in the Statue of Liberty," because she thought he might ask her a gotcha question about it.
Beck said he attempted to have a "conversation with her" that would allow her to reveal herself.
They discussed her answer to Beck's question to her about which Founding Father was her favorite. O'Reilly and Beck felt her immediate answer was "not good," as she first said "all of them." Truthfully, Beck did not let her finish her sentence, and she went on to say "George Washington."
O'Reilly was the first to have Palin on as a Contributor. She talked to him on Tuesday. . . .

“God created the [maintstream media] to train the faithful.”
- Paul Muad’Dib paraphrased
It's not going to stop is she runs for the presidency. Every opponent in the primary will try and trip her up, and her opponent in the general will take everything her primary opponents came up with and everything they can dig up on their own and use it against her.
“Well, maybe he bathes regularly, but he’s neither articulate nor black.”
Michelle has already revealed that he smells so bad in the morning that the daughter’s won’t jump in bed with them.
Ouch! That hurts.
I believe that she sarcastically suggested that Lincoln might be Palin's answer to the question of who was her favorite founding father.
You know - if one asks a women on a date - maybe Glen should have been so forthright to let her know. Glen acted like he was on a first date - and Sarah acted like she expected to talk to a fellow conservative - not to a love sick puppy. I can’t blame Glen - but he put Sarah at a disadvantage. Even the venue was first date material - he wanted to make a good impression. Would he take George W Bush on a date?
I can’t imagine how Beck could have been any more obsequious in his interview with Palin. What did he do to put her on guard?
To MinuteGal.....
I thought, why are they even reviewing her interview?.....She will be working with them which would make it very strange the next time they cross paths.....Personally, I would walk very cautiously around them.....I didn’t care for either interview....Alot of ego around Fox....I admire Palin’s courage and core values.....
I think you might be in for a very rude surprise. Governor Palin will quickly gain experience and confidence in these interviews, and will soon reach the point where a potential "gotcha" question like Who is your favorite founding father? will be answered with something like I don't know, I've never thought about it. I didn't know I was required to have a favorite founding father. They were all great patriots, and all are turning over in their graves at what this country is becoming.
The conservative talkers have made huge contributions and I'm thankful they are there. But several of them are horrible interviewers. I'd say Hannity is the worst. Laura Ingraham and Beck are about as bad. They are so hot to get their opinions out, and even try to put words into the mouth of the interviewee, that their interviews are usually little more than one more chance for them to push their opinions.
Rush is about the best at allowing someone else to speak and complete their thoughts before he responds.
I don’t think she has much use for Glenn Beck, myself.
She is a serious human being, with respect to the real governing of America.
He is interested in being a TV star.
Remember "my muslim faith"
Would you have preferred a wrestling ring for the first interview? How about a piranha tank?
The setting was fine. Liberty in the background was just fine.
Beck is blinded by his Mormon faith with regard to Romney.
Otherwise good conservatives, who happen to be Mormon, fall for Romney’s lies because of the religious link.
Bernie Madoff and other “affinity fraud” con men know this and use it, in all religions.
Carter used affinity fraud on Southern Baptists.
Palin must be asked gotcha questions.
I did not appreciate Glenn Beck saying “Bull crap” to Sarah Palin on live television. That show’s no class at all on Beck’s part.
I am not a huge Sarah Palin fan , but that was uncalled for.
Neither does anybody else on the Planet Earth.
The fact that Sarah Palin was actually focusing her energies on such a irrelevant question makes you seriously wonder what goes on between her ears.
The correct answer from a potential Presidential candidate to the question, "How many windows are in the Statue of Liberty" is:
"I don't know and I don't care. Instead of asking such a silly and trivial questions, let's discuss any major issue facing America today. Pick one. Your choice."
Sarah Palin is waaaaay out of her league if she seeks the Presidency and it very painfully shows.
Without a Tele-Prompter, Obama is a deer in the headlights.
Without a written, prepared speech, Sarah Palin is a deer in the headlights.
I know lots of people who can provide glib, if not informed, responses to almost any question but verbal gifts do not a leader make. Just because someone knows a lot about tools, dosen’t mean they can build a house.
I admire Palin’s gutsiness and she may make a good leader, but she needs to get out of campaign mode and start showing a leadership theme in her interviews.
I don’t think it has anything to do with his religious creed. For all television show hosts, “It is all about me.”
Just self-promoting on Beck’s part. No different than with O’Reilly, Karie Couric, or Charlie Gibson.
When an ignorant, "intellectual" lib makes an obvious mistake, its a joke, hahahaha. But when a Republican/Conservative makes ANY mistake, especially Sarah, it's the joke of the year!
Case in point, Dan Quale's potato(e) was used to ruin his political career!
Our "learned, brilliant" POTUS is still campaigning in 57 states and will not show us his college records, grades, etc. because most likely they're dismal, that if they ever existed!
