Here is video of MSNBC's Andrea Mitchell talking with Politico's Ben Smith from Massachusetts where they both said the mood of Democrats this afternoon is very "gloomy." They said no Democrats seem positive about the outcome tonight, and the "blame game" is already in full swing. The White House is blaming Coakley, saying the election has nothing to do with Obama.
This afternoon, the Coakley campaign has issued a memo saying that National Democrats "failed" her.

If she loses by less than 10 points, she was a bad candidate and Scott Brown was brilliant. If she loses by more than 10 points the result was a referendum on Obama and his policies and Scott Brown was brilliant. Either way, Scott Brown was just a wonderful candidate who ran a brilliant campaign.
