Obama is selling clunkers to America

After wasting $3 billion with the Cash for Clunkers program President Obama and his administration decided to take cash from the American people by selling them the government’s old cars.

GovSales.gov has been holding auctions where the public can buy the federal clunkers. As of today 249 trucks and semi tractors are available for auctioning, 248 cars and SUVs.

You can bid for the Obama clunker on the picture here.

Here are more examples of the federal government clunkers for sale: 1969 AM General M540, 1973 AM General M35A2C, 1985 Chevrolet CD30903, 1968 Ford F600.

Maybe the President made those clunkers environmentally friendly with a magic touch... The Feds made $45 million last year selling clunkers while spending $3 billion buying clunkers. How’s that deal working for ya, America?

I see FEMA trailers for sale all over the place here in Indiana. (that’s where most of them were built).

Coming home to die I guess.

(On a more serious note if the EPA hadn’t proclaimed them off limits due to outgassing of formaldehyde from the composite wood, they’d make great shelters for the victims of the Baraqqi depression.)

Great, so we pay people to buy new cars to get their old ones off the road, then sell them these spewers.

It's almost as if the government only really pretends to believe the global warming crap when they need to exploit it for their polticial agenda.

This is the best part: on the government auction they sell it with a warning:”The government may not have tested all of these units for formaldehyde”
Yet, the Gov wants to make sure you know everything about the junk in your backyard sale.

The DoD auctions are far more interesting, and the M35s are in better shape (though getting rarer).
