Today marks just another round of profound hypocrisy from those on the left. From 2003 on the national media was transfixed on the case of an undercover CIA agent being 'outed' by a vengeful Bush Administration when it was supposedly caught in a lie. Columns railed against the 'abuse of power' by the White House and some foamed that it was comparable to Watergate. Calls came for Vice President Cheney's resignation and for the imprisonment of members of the Bush Administration.
Instead, it was learned that Valerie Plame was open about her CIA status and willfully sent her husband to Niger to explore claims of Iraq seeking African uranium in violation of federal nepotism laws. Her husband, Charles Wilson, did not actually do what he was tasked to do and British intelligence still pointed to Saddam Hussein's government attempting to buy yellowcake uranium from West Africa.
However, if you have gone to the theater lately you may have noticed a dramatization called Fair Game that lionizes Plame and Wilson into heroes. And Sean Penn is playing Wilson to boot.

Just another day in Obamaland - where innocent people are treated like they’re guilty and terrorists walk.
THERE IS NO HYPOCRISY!!!!!!!!
When you realize what is the main objective is, the behavior is perfectly consistent. THE OBJECTIVE IS TO DESTROY THE UNITED STATES. So, in the Plame case you try to blow up the Republican administration which is conducting the war on terror. Purpose: TAKE OUT THE US.
In the second case—well it’s obvious, right? WHY ARE PEOPLE SURPRISED BY SEEMINGLY CONTRADICTORY BEHAVIOR? Becasue we have different principles and expected outcomes. THE LEFT WANTS THE UNITED STATES DESTROYED!!!!
That clarifies everything they do.
My best guess is that this will be Hillary’s “out”...to retire. Her own party screwed her by supporting Obama and she hasn’t forgotten.
Didn’t liberals do the rumba when the Pentagon Papers were leaked?
Exactly right. But even many Freepers just won't allow themselves to believe it. Cloward and Piven, folks.
We are at war with the left. Make no mistake. But too many conservatives are unaware of it. Unless you identify who the hell the enemy is and what their tactics are, YOU ARE DOOMED TO DEFEAT!!
I can’t believe all of the stupid articles by so-called conservative pundits about how lefitsts are hypocrital on this issue or that issue. Not only does the discussion miss the main point, i.e., we are at war, but it diverts attention away from what is really happening.
Liberalism is founded upon hypocrisy. What bothers me is this. The government keeps saying trust me with your personal information, such as medical records. The government cannot even protect its own top secrets, and we are to trust the government? This is the same government that says to us, let us run your health care. Only an absolute idiot would trust to do anything.
This is Hilary's ticket out of this administration and onto the campaign trail. Who else could possibly have access to this much disparate diplomatic traffic other than someone highly placed in the State Department? This amount of material was NOT copied onto a thumb drive! Hillary has, in one stroke, given herself a "noble victim falling on her sword" exit from the Obama administration, while undermining same. That US intelligence will take decades to recover from this is simply "collateral damage" to Hillary - her hate of the military and their adjuncts (Secret Service and Intelligence Agencies) is well-known. Machiavelli would be proud of her!
And, by the way, the head of the UN has been given a very public warning that Hillary has the dirt on him ... look for Bill to be jockeying for the UN Secretary-General position again!
This is 2 wikileaks....
I'm guessing one more...the fatal blow to Obama.
Bill doesn’t want to be tied down...He likes flitting around.
If anything, this raises even further suspicions about Wikileaks being a staged outlet for governmental propaganda (regardless of party).
