GREAT point. They can buy cash cards with anywhere from $50 to $500 on them, too. If enough DUmmies did that, this person could get off the streets for awhile and get her life together.

I think you nailed it. It's much easier, and cheaper, to sympathise with a sad sack like Hobo and blame it on society, if she's for real that is, than actually doing something tangible to improve her condition.
