"Occupy Wall Street" and the Dems' tea party envy

Democrats from the president on down have been quick to latch onto Occupy Wall Street and claim it as the left’s answer to the tea party.

But they do so at their own peril. The movement is about as relevant to the larger society as the Ku Klux Klan or right-wing militia because even they are able to mount rallies, but they don’t reflect anyone beyond themselves.

The same goes for “Occupy Wall Street” because it owes its origins to an online call by AdBusters, a Canadian far-left wing group that expressed hopes of creating a Tahrir Square here in America.

Not to mention, AdBusters is funded with money from the Tides Foundation, which in turn is funded by George Soros’s Open Society Project.

There is absolutely nothing new about this groups of communists, anarchists and hangers on. It is largely made up of the usual suspects like the Communist Party USA, Revolutionary Communist Party, Socialist Party USA, MoveOn.org, Democratic Socialists of America, etc.

And this is precisely why there isn’t any comparison between them and the Tea Party and why comparing them with radical extremist fringe groups like the Ku Klux Klan in terms of their broader appeal is far more accurate.

Like the Klan, these folks are only about hatred and violence. But unlike the Klan, their hatred has a broader target – each and every one of us who works for a living and who becomes successful.

If the Democrats want to latch onto a movement whose most memorable exemplar has been an unnamed guy defecating on a police car, then be my guest. It only underscores that the party of Jefferson, Jackson, FDR, and JFK has been hijacked by the far-left.

The ‘RATS’ “Coffee Party” and “No Labels Party” were massive failures. It looks like they’re going to settle for the Wee Wee’d Up Party. The ‘RATS have hit bottom so hard, they settle for anything right now.

It’s interesting that you post only “articles” from a single source:

Curious that in all the internet, you can only find that one single source.

One might even suppose that you were here only to push and promote that one source.

What do you think about that?

I get so sick and tired of seeing yet another thread about this OWS nonsense, but then I’m reminded of that guy crapping against a cop car and it makes me feel SO smart and superior again!

That's the "movement" Obama and his Democrats have latched on to.
That photo sums it up.

are there any aerial shots of these demonstrations or any crowd estimates? You would think with the media coverage that their are one million or more.

These are truly the great unwashed.

That guy taking a crap on the cop car is a perfect example of these folks!

These vermin are trying to attach them selves to the Tea Party saying we support them...check out comments that are popping up on YT vids.

Even Greta the other night tried to intimate that they are protesting the same things the TP is.

to all of you uninformed people... Here is a message FROM THE TEA PARTY. This is a letter to OWS from FedUpUSA, one of the original Tea Parties: We support you in exercising your First Amendment Right. We are outraged that any peaceful demonstrator would be assaulted or abused by any authorities. If you are protesting because there are no jobs— We stand with you.

These constipated Occupiests have nothing in common with the TEA Party.

We TEA Party types have jobs, pay our bills, pay taxes and tend to vote for Americans. These bozos freeload off of the taxpayers, demand someone else pay their bills, tend to vote for foreigners and have WAY TOO MUCH FREE TIME ON THEIR HANDS.

Their current tantrums do not impress me. If they want to impress me, they could start by moving their new millennium Woodstock to Washington D.C. and demand that Obama and his 'RATS surrender their power back to the American people and step down.

Completely agree. That won’t stop the LSM from letting them get away with it though.

How many times did a Tea Party member take a dump on a cop car? I lost track. Oh, that’s right NEVER!
Anyhow, I guess this “movement” has its leader.
