Liberals and the mainstream media are now scrutinizing comments made by Herman Cain regarding the over-hyped, "grassroots" Occupy Wall Street gang. The war over words stirred from remarks Cain made on CBS' "Face the Nation," as he called the protesters jealous Americans who are playing "the victim card."
When a reporter asked me the other day, well, what do you think about those demonstrations up on Wall Street, I said, first of all, Wall Street didnt write these failed economic policies - the White House did," said Cain, Why dont you move the demonstrations to the White House?
What I find interesting about the Occupy Wall Steet debacle is its blatant hypocrisy on part of the majority of its members. What is their common theme? They hate capitalism - at least, they claim to. But could anyone really believe that these unemployed (many of which choose to be unemployed), anti-hygiene scoundrels don't indulge in the products of capitalism? Do we really believe that these people refrain from shopping at establishments that do not rely on the financial industry for loans, capital, etc.?
Further, do we really believe that these people don't aspire for their own personal wealth? Well, we shouldn't. Because the so-called "leaders" of these movements obviously believe in wealth. First, all the Occupy Wall Street cities have their own websites - occupywallst.org, occupystl.org, occupylosangeles.org, etc. Their medium of communication is a product of capitalism. Do they really believe that Google materialized out of thin air, that all the search engines and online stores became successful without financial backing?
As well, whoever operates these websites undoubtedly aspires to "capitalize" from wealth. Just go to each site and on every single home page you will find a "donate" button.
