The Hippys of the 60's-70's gave us Joe Cocker, The Who, Jimi Hendrix, CCR and this is what today's Hippys give us?!?! We should be the ones protesting! Our Hippys suck!
Absolutely, generally left of center, but these guys gave us great music.

While there was some fun music from the Hippy days, much of it was mindless and boing drivel.
Hippies were mostly a combination of social misfits, sprinkled with a few clever young people having a party and making songs.
The Oh We Stink crowd is much of the same, but the trashy byproduct of the Hippy movement.
Most of them have no clue as to what they are protesting.
