The so called “loopholes” are selective tax breaks given by congress & president to their contributors. Talk to small business owners who have no influence with DC government. They got no loopholes to squirm through.

Which is why I am for flat tax rates with NO deductions. Herman Cain’s 9-9-9 type plan eliminates all loopholes and LEVELS the playing field so true competition can begin.

The way current tax system works, inefficient business models are rewarded via tax loss deductions while most efficient and profitable are punished with higher taxes.

Same with individual taxes. Eliminate ALL deductions. Enough of social engineering from Washington DC.

Obama worships Obama. Romney seeks God. I will vote for Romney.

So a man who routinely lies about his own Progressive Liberal record, routinely lies about his competitors, the actual conservatives, in the primary, the man who implemented Gay Marriage in MA and is still lying about that, the man who implemented Socialized Medicine complete with an Individual Mandate AND a $50 abortion is seeking God?

Not a chance.

However, if he is smart, that is EXACTLY what he will start to do immediately if he ever hopes to make heavan.

Hate to burst the bubble, But Romney is a empty suit like Obama. We have no idea what he would do. Only promises.

Interesting, I’ll have to go back and look for that.

I don’t specifically recall reading that, but then again it’s been quite a while now since I read that book.

:D

In the meantime I’ll continue to blindly hope for an impossibility - such as a Sarah Palin aspect to all this.

It’s far more fun, than the alternative.

From Rino List:

After the election of Barack Obama in 2008, Rush Limbaugh took to the airwaves in January 2009 to announce his hope for the failure of Barack Obama’s policies. He was very quick to make sure people understood he was not against Obama due to the color of his skin, but solely due to his policies.

In the same vein, I would like to announce a similar sentiment. I agree with Rush that Obama’s polices should fail, and I hope they do. I also hope that the policies and philosophies of Mitt Romney fail as well.

The fundamental philosophy of Mitt Romney is Mitt Romney. I know that seems to be Conservative and Ron Paul Supporter boilerplate, however it has been the consistent interpretation of Mitt Romney. Mitt Romney has consistently said what he believes the audience in front of him wants to hear.

Another dangerous feature of having a RINO as a Republican Presidential nominee is that normally Conservative commentators spend their time making excuses for RINO ideology. If the Tea Party movement is to become a true reform movement, it will do well to soundly reject the Conservative commentators that bail water for RINO Romney as he destroys our Party’s core belief structure.

His speeches can only be taken in and of themselves, because on the morrow he will need to amend whatever he said before. This Mitt Romney, the one that changes his core opinions in order to accomplish his own goals, is the Mitt Romney that I hope fails, whether or not he is promoting Conservative beliefs.

I urge Conservatives to write in a candidate of their choice or to abstain from the Presidential vote. It does not matter who others vote for, it matters who we vote for or in this case who we do not vote for. Your vote is too precious to spend it on Romney just because you are afraid of Obama. When someone makes the argument that if you don’t vote for Romney, you are voting for Obama, they are urging you to vote scared. They are urging you that unless you vote against your beliefs then bad things will happen. Ignore them. Vote for someone because you believe that person is best suited to present your beliefs. If you agree with soft Socialism, then vote Obama. If you believe in whatever Romney believes in right now, then vote for Romney. But if you believe in Conservatism’s belief in smaller government then you should not vote for either candidate, because neither believes in Smaller Government. Don’t vote scared, vote proudly what you believe, whether or not you think it will win. You voted, you spoke in the greatest way that you can politically. Keep speaking through your vote. That is the loudest sound that our government hears.

Blessings from the amazing God of our Great Republic. May God save our Republic so that this nation will not perish from the Earth.

Well for my standpoint I urge FReepers to support their nominee.

In my case, I consider that to be Romney, for the next (4) years. Now that the nomination is done.

In 2016 though,
watch out.

:D

James Eagan Holmes, John Wayne Gacy, Richard Speck, Jeffery Dahmer, Ted Bundy, Juan Corona, Charles Manson, Richard Ramirez (night stalker), Albert Desalvo (Boston strangler), Dennis Rader (BTK killer), Gary Ridgway (Green river killer), Richard David Falco (son of Sam killer), etc, etc, etc....
are the type of people who are really scary to me. Are there many Mormons among them? I am just a peaceful Hindu who abhors violence against all innocent civilians.

This is like saying how Hannibal Lechter can become a great cook.

Great analogy.

Thank you for your facts.
Romany may not be the best choice, but he is the best choice of those running.
I do not understand those around here that think and preach that anyone is better then a Mormon,
if they keep it up we will have another four years of the big O.

Although I am vehemently opposed to Mormon teaching as being completely false, I am simply unable to accept in any form or fashion a man who hides everything about himself, has begun to give hard evidence of being a pathological liar, is placed on a magazine cover as the "First Gay President" and openly supports Islamic nations. He has allowed lesbians and gays into the White House many of whom have shown disrespect to paintings of former presidents there. And, that's just the tip of the iceberg.

It is becoming apparent that he wasn't born a U.S. citizen, a major, constitutional requirement for being president. He has admitted smoking pot, which now will make it acceptable to millions of young people just like Clinton heralded in the the "Oral Sex" era in our history. One of the all-time worst things he has EVER done were his recent comments against business people who have suffered and sacrificed to build business and has started the process of creating a class war between those who have failed to exercise diligence, self-discipline, desire to learn applicable skills and equated a hard-working low-wage worker who is most often (but not always) in the job due to a lack of desire to obtain higher level education/skills.

This attempt at buying votes by criticizing people who have taken huge risks, worked hours the common man will not work and have sacrificed and done without in order to grow the business is absolutely, totally unforgivable. He can never make right what he said in regard to that.

Apparently the only values he has are those where he worships himself. The only thing wrong to him is failure for anyone to adore him.
