Finally, it is essential that conservative intellectuals do not abandon the effort to change the culture, and to, in Gramscian terms (as the late Gene Genovese often put it), wage a war of position on the cultural front and to do all possible to challenge the ascension of a failed intellectual liberal ideology, whether it be in the form of Progressivism, liberalism or socialism. Whether it is called “the blue model” as Walter Russell Mead calls is, or something else, the intellectual fight against its assertions must begin with all the strength we can muster.

So we all have our work cut out for us. Let us hope our nation gets through the next four years, and that the president takes Lanny Davis’ call to heed, and does not act as I fear he will.

Do WHAT??? We did the best we could in this election. We actually got a candidate who could actually fix the economy, and over half of America rejected him. Now we’re in to four more years of devastation, despair, and total, complete, utter stupidity. Barack Hussein Obama is our president, John Boehner will chain-smoke and cry while he spinelessly acquieses to him, and America will slowly fade into nothing.

Want to fight Obama? Don’t send your kids to public school and don’t send them to a liberal college. No more Hollywood entertainment.

This is crap advice.

Our ideas are out there for all to see. The MSM refuses to consider these ideas as alternatives, but as obstructionism.

The MSM covered foreign policy fairly well with Benghazi. Exit polls show Obama is trusted more on foreign policy than Romney.

We need to stop listening to Free Republic, Fox News and Conservative Radio as if everyone else listens to these outlets. They don’t.

Finally, getting out our cultural ideas is what sunk Romney. Look at the women’s vote that he was supposedly winning? He lost on abortion and contraception because more women are single due to divorce or a rejection of marriage and family.

The faithful better return to God and Prayer, because the levers of power in this Republic have been turned over to Satan.

There is no earthly mechanism to overcome the fraud and secularism now in control of this country.

The gutless Republicans are too feeble to pursue the Benghazi thing as they won’t want to upset the Democrats. We have a weenie RNC and our Washington leadership is a joke. Republicans are constantly stepped on by Democrats and they act as if they love it.

Unforunately, it has become apparent that there is simply no way to overcome the monumental ignorance of most of the electorate, caused by the complicit media, and massive illegal immigration and voting.

America is over. At least, the America that most of us knew.

Let's face it: the portion of the citizenry comprised of ignoramouses (well-meaning though they may be), and flat-out lazy takers, who have no shame and see nothing wrong with taking from their neighbors, has finally passed the tipping point. The roller coaster has reached the top of the hill, and it's all downhill from here.

So what should conservatives do, now that the nation has elected Barack Obama to a second term?

Promise more entitlements, gay marriage, amnesty, taxpayer paid abortion, ban guns..........

In this atmosphere, it is foolhardy to give the nation evidence that failure to try and solve problems that are confronting us is the fault of Republicans and conservatives.

And yet that is exactly the message that the dems used to win this election.

Well orchestrated Fraud.
Conservatives refusing to vote for Romney.
Liberal “Catholics” upset about the instruction not to vote for Obama, sat out, rather than vote Romney.

What we must do?

PRAY!
REPENT!

Quit playing the game of “my way or the highway” conservatism.
This country didn’t fall off of the cliff in one election cycle, and we won’t scale back to the top in one cycle, either!

To: Jay777; All

Just counting down until announcements for the new massive layoffs begin flooding in. The myriads of small and intermiediate businesses who warned their employees of what would happen to them and their businesses they were working for must have been taken as a bluff by the Barry voters. These owners were not bluffing!

“Barry” Xmas to all and have a rapaciously taxable New Year!

"[A]bout half of voters still blame President George W. Bush more than President Barack Obama for the country’s economic problems and most cite the economy as their top issue in the election."

What president has EVER had the employees of the press rush to his aid with excuse after excuse after excuse?

The skid marks on Journalism's shorts are doing their part to help The One!

Exit polls 2012: Voters blame George W. Bush

More to come:

Headlines:
It not just the poor economy
Public Blames Bush For Benghazi
57 percent say it's Bush's fault

It not just Benghazi
Public Blames Bush For Fast and Furious
57 percent say it's Bush's fault

It not just Fast and Furious
Public Blames Bush For Six-Dollar-A-Gallon Gasoline
57 percent say it's Bush's fault

It not just high energy costs
America on Wrong Track, Majority Blame Bush
57 percent say it's Bush's fault

“So what should conservatives do, now that the nation has elected Barack Obama to a second term?”
1) Get involved with church, get the spiritual house in order.

2) Get involved with alternative media (websites like FR), Facebook, twitter, talk radio: Share information on what’s going on with a particular issue, tell other folks what’s going on. Get info from other than the MSN. Ramp it UP!

3) Get involved with pollwatching and know how to counter any attempts at cheating (such as was seen when Democrat workers wouldn’t let legit Republicans into the polling place Tuesday morning) Report it to the police and election officials.

4) Get prepared for natural or man-made disasters and try to get self sufficient as much as possible. Move away from overcrowded areas.

5) Do their best to get out of debt; if it means three generations under one roof, do it (time was, this was the norm). Pare expenses to the BONE/ as much as possible.

I’d say we must begin today to be a vigorous, vocal and visible opposition, not fading away like the Tea Party movement after 2010. We need to make it clear for the next four years that we are here and that we count.

November 6th is going to be the challenge for your future. A permanently entitled dependent class now controls the political process and every election that follows. That group is the people of densely populated cities. The tipping point has occurred and those people now control the political future of this country. They are hungry and they are growing...exponentially! The democrats know that and they depend on that demographic for their power.

Take a look at the map. Even the deepest blue states are only blue in certain compacted areas but those compacted areas rule the process. Take a hard look at those areas and see if you can figure out how to breaks the chains that they are now under and become fiscally responsible law abiding citizens. Until then, the trend of November 6th will continue and grow even faster.

It's a tough challenge but, it's your future.

God help you in your endeavor.

Good luck with all that. I’m done. I’m tired of politics. I don’t care anymore. The republican party cannot win. They cannot convince blacks and hispanics to jump on board - all they want are freebies, and women want to feel better about killing their babies. We could not get rid of Obama with the record he had, there is not much else that can be done.

We lost based on an image liberals have been able to paint of conservatives. They’ve been able to scare minorities and women into thinking we’ll take away all their freedoms. Most people still want a small government and less taxes.

The problem is not the lack of a Ronald Reagan to lead the GOP, but the lack of the electorate who elected Reagan.
