Beck used to tell a story about a radio trick he did in his early days. He ran commercials for a new underground amusement park, and even put up promotional fliers around town. He hyped the whole thing to the max and drummed up quite a bit of excitement. On “Grand Opening Day”, his phones were overwhelmed by frantic people who were driving around, unable to find the nonexistent park.
Looks like he’s still pulling the same trick, LOL.
