cg was never banned. He just, for some reason I cannot fathom [snigger] stopped posting under that name. But Fuddy & a certain Freeper are catnip for him—simply irresistible. So when the brand new guy showed up on cg’s favorite topic, snarking at the very Freeper cg loved to snark at, & *sounding* just like cg...well, I made an educated guess.
But the new guy will never be as fun. The fun part of cg was the wild, wacky story he cooked up to explain how he landed on a conservative site/on a Fuddy thread, as his first ever FR post. Priceless, pure comedy gold pricelessness.
We shall not see its like again...sigh.
