Where I went to college there was an African themed dorm.

Technically any student could live there, but preference was given to black students.

And why did the black students prefer that particular dorm? Because of the African theme? Because it was a safe zone away from oppressive whites? No.

The reason they preferred that dorm was because it had more single rooms than any other on campus. Single rooms are gold to college students.

This is the "money statement" of the entire article, the "heart" of his argument: Certain "groups" (in this case: races) have more rights than others.

It also begs the question: What constitutes a "marginalized group?" Who "marginalized" them? Does it matter that, e.g., I am not responsible for their "marginalization?" Who determines who "gets to" claim membership in a "marginalized group?" Etc.

All this idiot is saying is that when "persons of color" (what an idiotic phrase) choose to be non-inclusive i.e. racist they are not racists. They are simply seeking safe places from nasty, white liberal classmates who most likely kiss their a..es.
